Swanky Retreat - Downtown
This gorgeous condo is bright and modern and offers two-bedroom suites with 2.5 baths. It is PERFECT for weddings guests! Identical Queen bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, full-length mirrors, walk-in closets, and a balcony! Downstairs there is a fully stocked kitchen, laundry, open living and dining area, and a half bath. While there is no designated parking spot for the condo, there is plenty of free street parking right in front of it. This place has everything you need for your downtown vacation! Across the street from celebrity chef Vivian Howard's Pizzeria and fantastic bars and restaurants. Your Wilmington Vacation Awaits!
Guests will have full access to the entire condo, balcony, and patio. There is a locked owners closet for our supplies, but everything else is yours to use. Please note - this is a multi story property and stairs are required for access.

Check-In & Check-Out Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and check-out is 10:00 AM. These times allow our cleaning team the opportunity to thoroughly prepare the home for each guest. During our busy summer season (Memorial Day through Labor Day), we are generally unable to accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs from Friday through Sunday due to tight turnover schedules. During the week, we are happy to check availability within 24 hours of arrival or departure. When accommodations are possible, a fee of $25 per hour applies for early arrivals or late departures.
A Note About Coastal Wildlife One of the joys of the coast is being surrounded by nature. Our area is home to a variety of local insects, including spiders, ants, and palmetto bugs, particularly during warmer months. The home receives regularly scheduled professional pest control treatments, but occasional sightings can still occur despite our best efforts. If you encounter any concerns during your stay, please let us know and we'll gladly arrange additional treatment if needed. Seeing native insects will not be grounds for a cancellation or refund.
Television & Streaming While this property does not offer cable service, smart TVs or Rokus are available for you to access your favorite streaming platforms using your personal accounts. Please remember to log out before departure, or remotely through your streaming service if needed.

Respect for Our Neighborhood This home is located in a residential community, and we kindly ask guests to be mindful of our neighbors. Quiet hours are between 10:00pm and 7:00am each day. Parties and events are not permitted in accordance with Airbnb policies. Excessive noise or unauthorized gatherings may result in the reservation being terminated without refund.

As a result, you may occasionally hear sounds associated with downtown living, including pedestrians, vehicle traffic, nearby trains, or aircraft overhead. This townhouse is absolutely beautiful. It looks to be professionally decorated in the industrial style. Great location and very clean. The area is a bit noisy like some had mentioned but didn’t bother us at all. Slept great - the bed was very comfortable.

Spotless but noisy
The condo itself is fantastic! Very clean and convenient and fantastic layout. Everything you need. Great restaurants within walking distance and easy access to downtown. The only challenge is noise. The train runs directly beside the property and at 10pm and 12 am it ran both nights with horns blaring. The traffic on 3rd street also picks up about 5:30/6am and is quite loud.
Convenient and Affordable spot near downtown Wilmington
Modern condo just over a mile from downtown Wilmington. Was a great location for getting to the convention center or CFCC if you don’t want a downtown hotel. Great value- full nice kitchen and laundry, nice TV set up, and two master suite bedrooms. Please note: it is as close to the train tracks as you can get. So if hearing the train horns and rumbling train cars at night (1:30am) will bother you, look elsewhere. We’re heavy sleepers so we easily fell back asleep, but it will wake you up. All in all it was a great option for two couples hanging in Wilmy for a few days.
I took my wife to stay here for a 1 day fishing trip, as apart of her 40th birthday celebration. Starting with the cons: it's located in a gentrification block, so it's literally 2 blocks from the projects, which leads to the next con: in order to keep an eye on our car, we had to park in front of the property which is located off a main street and can be super dangerous as you have to be careful of vehicles racing by to ensure you don't end up as human roadkill. The last 2 cons were one of the bedrooms has a glass door leading out to the upstairs patio but it doesn't have a screen or shade blind to keep people from being able to see directly into the room at certain angles, then the outside patio in the backyard was filled with cobwebs and the future was littered with debris and the backdoor also packed a door cover. With the cons side, the host is super cool and allowed us to check in 3 hours before our official check in time and she was very responsive to messages. The property is super chic with some industrial flair. The design and decor is excellent and we loved all the different lighting in the house. It's super close to downtown Wilmington and there's a lot of nearby places to hit. All in all, I'd definitely stay there again.
We had a great experience at Swanky Retreat. We had everything we needed and it was very clean. The location is next to train tracks, but it wasn't an issue for us because we were awake so it didn't disturb us. Host was very responsive. Location is also close to some really good restaurants just a couple of blocks away.
Very nice place, good location to downtown, only downside was it’s on a very busy road and it’s RIGHT NEXT TO VERY LOUD TRAIN TRACKS, the trains blow their hours for a solid 2 minutes literally right next to the condo, there are about 3 to 4 trains a day including on about 10PM
The property was super cool and the rooms were great. The neighborhood is just on the edge of what I would call safe. Had to park on the street, but it ended up not being an issue. Everything was going great until 12am when the first train rolled by blaring its horn constantly and literally shaking the beds. We hoped it was a one off but then it all happened again at 3am. Also the street light comes directly into the bedroom without any blinds in the door. We only stayed one night because we literally got no sleep. Asked for a refund and was told it was typical urban noise. I really wish more people would have left honest reviews about the townhome being 20-30 ft from a very active train line.
