This gorgeous home is located right across the street from the beach, has ocean views, and a beach access just steps away. There are 6 bedrooms and 4 baths. There are 32-inch Roku TVs in all bedrooms other than the master (which has a 40-inch TV and a cable box. Stream all the cable channels, or your own Hulu or Netflix - and control the TV with your phone if you like! The main 55 inch TV is also Roku-enabled. The gourmet kitchen has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and is ready to accommodate large families or groups. There is a bar height counter that seats 4, and the counter-height dining table seats 8\. It's also a great place to gather to play board games. There are 2 sofas. The home has hardwood floors in all the common areas. The living area has a 55-inch wifi-enabled flat screen TV, the master a 40-inch TV, and all the other bedrooms have 32 inch Roku TVs as well. Cable TV and high speed wireless internet service are also provided for your enjoyment. Upstairs there is a laundry area with a full-size washer and dryer. The entry first floor has two bedrooms - one in the middle of the home with a full over full bunk bed, and the other with a queen bed. There's a jack and jill (shared) bathroom on the entry floor with dual vanities and a toilet/shower area that has a door to close it off from the vanity area. This floor is recently repainted with new LVP flooring. The main second floor has the greatroom with living room, dining, and the gourmet kitchen. This level also has a bedroom with a queen bed. There is also a full bath on this level with separate doors the the bedroom and common area. The third floor has the master and two guest rooms that share a full bath - one bedroom has a queen bed and the other one another full over full bunk bed. The master bedroom has a king bed, a private deck, and a fabulous master bathroom with dual vanities, a glass enclosed shower, and a whirlpool tub. You can sit in the bed in the master and look out at great ocean views! For ocean viewing, there are two nicely furnished covered decks. One is on the main 2nd floor and the other is just off the master bedroom. Both are great for watching the ocean, watching people, reading, enjoying time with family and friends. To make your stay more enjoyable, the house is secured with a keypad lock. No worrying about who has the key! There's also a beach cart provided to make for an even easier walk over to the beach and back. And of course there's an outdoor shower for when you get home. This unit is half of a duplex. Each side is 6br 4ba. If you're interested in renting both sides let me know. Carolina Beach is an incredible vacation spot, with something for everyone in the family. There's a boardwalk with a permanent amusement park for the kids during the summer. The town hosts many movie nights at the lake, and they also have paddle boats there available for rent. The north end of the island allows 4 wheel drive vehicles, and there's a pier there as well. Kure beach also has a pier, which is about a mile away and makes for a nice stroll down the beach. At the far south end of the island is the Fort Fisher state park with large uncrowded beaches, the aquarium, and the ferry to Southport. This beautiful home is centrally located. The Tiki bar and Granny's Country Kitchen are short walks. The town area of Carolina Beach is just over a mile to the north, and Kure Beach is about a mile to the south. Linens are included. There was mold on the shower certain in the bathroom on the 2nd floor. There was mold on the outside grill to the point that it couldn’t be used. Took a chance after talking to the owner and him assuring me they'd done a deep clean and changed the policy to include linens. The place was clean on arrival, and spacious enough for our group. Looks like they upgraded some of the kitchen accessories, and created a supply closet with extra tp and whatnot. Overall a nice place with nice outdoor furniture and a good location right across from the beach. Would stay again! ##### Patsy G. Walking in and being able to access everything so easily from the toiletries to the remote controls was very comforting instantly I could tell that the house was clean and well organized. The view of beach in the morning while drinking a cup of coffee was the best part for me. I truly enjoyed myself. ##### Monea S. In particular, the kitchen is a treat! In spite of having a large group, we were not on top of each other and the location was excellent. We had beautiful views from the second floor balcony (which may change once the empty lot across the street is developed) and the wood was in good condition so no one ended up with splinters! We did have to call about a chirpy fire alarm, but the owner was very responsive and had it taken care of promptly. Cons: Some of the furniture was showing its age when we visited and it could have been cleaner. There were some minor maintenance problems, but those we hope will be fixed shortly. ##### Rachel E. Overall, the stay was enjoyable. The common area was very conducive to a large group for both dining and lounging. The bedroom/bathroom ratio also worked well for our group size although I will say that the bunk beds weren't as comfortable as other beds if an adult is planning to sleep there. The unit was a bit worn for it being its first year of renting on VRBO. There were lots of stains in the carpets, worn spots on furniture and the bedspreads all felt a bit grimy. The owner is VERY nice and approachable. I contacted him for a minor issue the first day we arrived and he had it resolved immediately. He was also very welcoming of the feedback I provided him (AWESOME landlord). There are a few things that could be done to make this place a "10." Like other reviewers, I would focus on improving the quality of sleep through better pillows and provide lighter washable blankets for each bed so the comforters don't get worn as quickly. A fan for the patio would also be nice. The home is on a main road- it's an easy walk to the beach, but the road noise is more noticeable than the sound of the waves. It didn't bother our group as it was still a nice view. It is a duplex but did not feel like one- we didn't hear them through the walls or on the porch. The price is right, and I feel like we got what we expected for a CB rental. ##### Brittany R. ---
