Riverfront, great view, meh hotel.

This hotel is actually an old motel converted into something a little trendier - therefore, the rooms are all on outside hallways. Now this is GREAT in the spring, maybe summer, and fall, but cold river winds are not my idea of a pleasant stay. Our room (King) was small - the bed filled up the room practically - and the bathroom was super small. The furniture was really dusty - I wondered if maybe that room hadn't been used in a while - and the construction at the convention center next door started at 5am. The breakfast room has an incredibly nice woman who calls herself Granny and makes sure you have everything you need ... but what was needed was space in the room. 4 tables in the room and several more outside on the breezeway, which again, is only usable seasonally. This is my second, and last, stay at this hotel. The front desk staff is perfunctory, but not overly friendly or even welcoming. It does have a great location being walking distance to downtown and right on the boardwalk. Gorgeous sunset.
