Great pet friendly place!
Great place! Loved the hot tub and the fireplace heaters. Just the downstairs was enough space for my boyfriend and I with our two dogs. Comfy and cozy. So plenty of space for larger groups and two bathrooms. Kitchen fully stocked for cooking. Nice outside deck and front porch. Cute neighborhood and town. Our favorite place is Vermont Distillery. The owner had great communication and very friendly! Thanks for sharing your home!

Outstanding host and beautiful property
We had a fantastic experience at this property. It's a lovely, cozy home, very comfortable for up to six peoplke, nestled next to a golf course. Lucky for us, the course was covered with a foot of snow. This made for a large space to walk, hike and play in, great for the kids and dog. Host Smith truly made us feel welcome in his home, paying great attention to various details, such as dried and split firewood with firestarters for tenant use. The hot tub was pristine and new as were the appliances. The drive to Mount Snow was easy, the town of Wilmington is also close by, quaint and cute. We plan to return to this property next winter. 4x4s or AWD recommended for the unpaved class 4 roads leading up to cabin.

Perfect!
The house was perfect for our family. Each of our teen boys had their own room upstairs with a bathroom. My husband and I had our room and bathroom downstairs. We loved having our own thermostat and gas stove in our bedroom, it was great to keep it cool at night and warm up while getting ready. Our 9 year old Vizsla loved the house and yard too! We used the fireplace and hot tub every day. It was so cozy. Location was ideal, 10-15 minute drive to Mt. Snow for amazing snowboarding. Close to the cute town of Wilmington with some great restaurants. And lots of nearby trails for hiking. It really felt like a home away from home.

Perfect vacation home!
Looked for a place close to Mt Snow that takes pets. This place was the perfect find. Super convenient and clean. Plenty of room. Furniture was modern and comfortable. Close to town for some great dinners and a short drive to the mountain in the morning! All the amenities you need are provided. Hot tub was a huge bonus!

Enjoy Vermont!
This is our 4th time enjoying this comfortable, clean and cozy spot! Located on Haystack golf course provides a beautiful view out the slider and windows. Snowshoe or xcountry ski out the back door. Brand new hot tub is the best! Convenient to Wilmington shops and restaurants as well as Mount Snow. I highly recommend ! Check it out ! We’ll be back for sure!

Cute, clean and comfy
We had such a great stay! This place is very clean and very well stocked with everything you’ll need for your stay. The hot tub was so nice to have after a long day of skiing. Fireplace was a major bonus as well. Great communication. The bed downstairs is a bit on the smaller side for a couple. But that’s just a personal preference and not a critique. Totally worth it. Already trying to make time to go back this season. Thanks Al!

Anniversary Getaway
My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was nice, the house had all the amenities we could ask for, and was well stocked. The neighborhood felt safe, though it was busier than we expected. The overall location was great and we were happy to discover a pickleball court and trails nearby Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful escape
This is a beautiful place to escape for a weekend. My wife and I have come here the last few years and it is always amazing. Alastair is communicative and friendly, the house is clean warm and inviting, and the area is peaceful and relaxing. 10/10 we will be back!

Fantastic Spot

Cozy Cabin
This is our second time staying in this beautiful home. We came up to do some hiking and take in the foliage, but unfortunately it rained all weekend. Having been stuck inside, this was the perfect place to be rained into. Comfy couches, tv, a fireplace, lots of games, and many local breweries nearby! I especially enjoyed the comforting atmosphere of the cabin - decorated to be relaxing and inviting. We’ll be back again!

Peaceful getaway
My wife and I have stayed here many tines over the last 3 years. The house is always clean and is tucked away in a quiet corner of Haystack Mountain. The host is accomodating and friendly and our experince has been fantastic during each stay. It is a grest place for a quiet getaway.

Perfect Vermont Get Away
This is our third stay (1 fall and 2 winter) and look forward to returning! Beautiful location convenient to Mount Snow and town of Wilmington. This year we tried Snow Republic Brewery that had great craft beers and a fun atmosphere. We love snowshoeing or cross country skiing right out the back door. We also enjoyed the brand new hot tub . I highly recommend!

5 Adults for a Weekend
Great location for those of us who traveled from Boston and New London/Hartford, CT area. Very close to Mt. Snow, hiking trails and other activities. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Very well stocked with basic supplies. Good rates. Highly recommend.

Perfect getaway
Alistair has a wonderful house set on the edge of a golf course. It is clean and tidy, easy to find and the perfect place for a weekend away. My fiance and I have stayed the last two years and it doesn't disappoint. We will be back next year!

The property was immaculate and had all the necessities for a weekend stay. It's within a homeowner's association and made for a good a base for activities in the area, although it's not a destination in and of itself. The hot tub is a nice feature!

The property location is great that is close to Mount Snow, Haystack mountain trail, Molly Stark Park and downtown. The host Al promptly responded my messages. The place is very quiet. We drove Tesla. If we book the same place next time, we would not drive Tesla. The close supercharge place is at Battleboro that is almost 40 minutes one way to get there. Most of the roads to get the property are gravel roads that are no good for Tesla tire. Overall speaking, I feel positive for this property and my stay experience. This is my first time to use VRBO. I have good experience to use VRBO this time.

Wonderful Area

Perfect Vermont Getaway
This is our second stay and loved it as much as the first which was in the fall. This time we snowshoed and xc skied right out the back door as well as 2 beautiful Nordic Centers near by (Prospect Mountain and Timber Creek). The house is cozy, clean, roomy and very comfortable. The perfect spot!
Location, location, location! This great home is perfectly situated for a great winter vacation. We enjoyed great skiing at Mt. Snow, just s short drive away. We enjoyed snowshoeing on trails of the golf course right behind the home. Restaurants, groceries and shopping are all nearby. I highly recommend this home. We are planning to return next year for another 2 week stay.

The coziest cabin
First time in VT to explore. I was so pleased with the cabin, it was just perfect. The few photos listed do not do it justice at all. It was super spacious - loved the spiral staircase, gas fireplace furnaces in the dining & bedroom, large fireplace in living room, backyard - everything. The Xmas lights inside & outside were a nice touch also. Location was great as it was close to parks, restaurants & town. Host was easy to contact and quick to respond. 10/10 recommend this stay!

Peaceful Stay
I stayed for a long weekend with my husband and two friends. We didn’t get a chance to golf but we loved this location, right next to a fairway! The home was very clean and orderly. The location was great, it was just a 10 minute drive to many businesses. We would love to return in the future. Can’t beat the price!!!

Perfect fall getaway!
This house is comfortable, clean, and well-stocked, and the surrounding property is gorgeous, especially in fall. We had a wonderful weekend here with another couple, our 7 month old son, and dog. Very convenient to downtown Wilmington and some beautiful hiking at Molly Stark State Park. Definitely a place we’d love to return to! As others have said, the photos hardly do it justice, and the host, Al, was very communicative and responsive throughout.

Chose it for the hot tub...which didn't work properly. Aside from that, great place.
Absolutely adorable home! Nicely kept, had everything we needed...except a working hot tub. :( We were in town for an obstacle course race, and whenever we travel for a race we choose/rent a place with a hot tub (15k + 45 obstacles makes for sore muscles!). The locks are a little touchy, and the directions could use some help but we made it then Google helped! ;) Situated right on a golf course, lovely little town & tucked just far enough away into the woods. The owner was very timely in responses - and we were in touch nearly all weekend because the hot tub never got up to a useable temperature (I believe at 1 point the readout said 99, but it definitely didn't feel that warm - and it never got hotter). If the hot tub is just an added bonus for you - this is a GREAT place to rent!!

Sorry about the issue with the hot tub. I was able to reset it, however it has been very difficult (impossible) to get a technician to come out for a service call.

Perfect little getaway
The owner was polite and responsive and answered all of my questions prior to our check-in. The property is well maintained and clean and is in a spectacular location for a weekend getaway. My fiance and I walked the many nearby trails and perused the shops in downtown Wilmington. This house is better than advertised and we will definitely be back!

Perfect VRBO
This is what vacation is all about. Als house was well maintained, had all the amenities we needed and was in a great area. We stayed at the house for a local marathon and did some R&R for 3 days. The house is right on the golf course and we had fun talking to the golfers on hole 3 while we sat outside on the porch. The hot tub was great for hanging out as well. Highly recommend for anyone up to 6 guests. Great property! Thank you, we will be back.

The property was in a great location to all the activities we wanted to do. The Golf course was in great shape with some great views and challenging holes. Nicely accessorized and situated. While we’re used to a king size bed and can manage in a queen…wondering whether the listed Queen is really a double. Recommend you make it more obvious that to have linens provided would be +$25….not about the money, but the inconvenience if not noted in advance.
