4th Nt Free! Waterfront Bungalow! Dock | Kayaks

  • Wake up at Bluewater Bungalow in one of three cushy bedrooms: a king-size master suite, a queen guest bedroom, and a kid-friendly bunk room with two twin-over-twin bunks. A split-level floor plan gives the master suite extra privacy with its own bathroom. (The other two bedrooms share a bath.)

    Then meet in the kitchen for coffee and breakfast. This sunny and gorgeous space features quartz countertops, a custom backsplash, and a 6-person dining table + breakfast bar for 3. The kitchen opens to a living area with a nap-worthy sectional sofa, and an additional game room with a foosball table and other goodies.

    After breakfast, head outside to nature's playground! Set directly on Lake Tawakoni on a big, lakefront lot with towering pines for privacy, the bungalow makes the most of its beautiful surroundings.

    Fish from a private dock, leap into the lake for swimming, set off on the pair of kayaks we provide, or head out on your boat for some of the best fishing in Texas! Meanwhile, land-lovers can play yard games like beanbag toss or horseshoes on the pits we hand-built!

    No need to stop playing if it rains—just take the games indoors, where you'll find a foosball table and an extensive collection of board games. There's also a futon in this area to sleep an extra guest.

    Evenings are the most magical time at Bluewater Bungalow. Sit under the ceiling fan on outdoor lounge furniture to watch the sunset, then gather around the fire pit for s'mores. Just add fireflies in summer and moonlight on the lake, and your day on the lake ends on a perfect note!

Bass fishing trip

We loved our stay. Everything was great especially the backyard and the fishing dock. We used the fire pit and enjoyed our dinner around the fire. The kids used the kayaks around the lake and were able to catch some fish.

Our family had the most relaxing stay. The house is ideally situated on the water. We watched the sunrise from the dock and it was beautiful. The kitchen is a chef's dream. The beds are very comfortable and the guest room shower is like getting a great massage.

A Great Weekend Getaway

We went down as two couples for the weekend to chill by the lake, play board games, and shop at Canton market days. This home was fabulous. We all agreed it would be a great place to bring kids, too. There were lots of things to do, room to play, and even kayaks to explore the lake. It's a short drive to Canton from there, so a great base for a weekend of shopping.

Pretty nice spot, and pretty clean for the most part! The roads leading to the house are pretty terrible for the last 2 miles (not ideal for sports cars), but you can make it. Relaxing weekend away for my wife and I. Had a great time!

Lake stay just outside of dallas

We were looking for a relaxing getaway, just a short drive away. We got it! The backyard and lake were everything we needed to keep the kids busy during their Spring Break! We enjoyed exploring neighboring towns. We highly recommend a drive out to visit Canton Grand Safari Adventures and 88888 Ranch Pickleball and alpaca farm. A hidden gem just outside the city!

Great spot on the lake!

We greatly enjoyed our stay. This house is on a picturesque lot and has lots of indoor and outdoor amenities. The layout was perfect for our needs, and everything worked great. We spent most of our time by the lake when the weather was nice, and retreated to the excellent covered patio area when the rain showed up! The house is close to several good fishing spots on the lake, and the house has good boat access. We had an awesome time and definitely hope to return again. I highly recommend this house to anyone planning a stay on Lake Tawakoni.

Awesome spot

We loved the place so much we booked it again. The dock was so awesome you’re on the lake all the time. They provided kayaks for all ages. My 8 year old was able to go out and have fun with his older brother and cousin. We caught a bunch of fish and the property is beautiful. We had fun inside with the foosball table and had a great meal with the awesome kitchen. Would definitely recommend.

Great waterfront place

Great spot. Everything as advertised. Clean and comfortable. Would rent again. Only suggestions would be upgrade kitchen knives (worn out like many rental places) and install a ladder on the dock. The rope pvc ladder is a real liability and an acccident waiting to happen.

Calming Atmosphere

I traveled to Texas to visit my brother, who has terminal cancer. I rented this property because we wanted a space to sit and watch our children play together one last time. I was not disappointed! This property offered exactly what I had pictured and more. Our kids had a wonderful time, exploring all of the child-friendly activities that were offered and forgot about how sad they are for a little while. I will never forget this house. It will always give me a smile when I think about it.

Perfect Lake House!

My husband, myself, the in-laws and brother in-law (who is handicapped) had an amazing time at this property! All one level. Perfect floor plan- nice and open and inviting! We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening. They guys fished all night and caught alot of cstfish off the dock. The only draw back was we learned after jumping off the dock into the water, there have been alligator sightings on Lake Tawakoni. Not sure where exactly but just be cautious of that! We did not want to leave when it was time- wish we would've stayed longer! And the host was amazing- responded very quickly to any questions I had. Would definitely go back!

Amazing rental

My husband and I stayed 4 nights at this property with our teen and her friend and our 6 month old. The house was absolutely perfect. The open floor plan in the main living area let us all be together for our whole trip, while the split bedroom floor plan let the teenagers stay up late without waking the baby in our room. The Foosball table was a huge hit with our group. The view from the big living room windows was amazing. The house was stocked with everything we needed and more. We ventured out to Ham Orchard (highly recommend) and bought fresh peaches and I was thrilled to find a Nutribullet to make the baby fresh purees. If I had to list a "con", I could only say to be aware if you have very small kids that walking into the water isn't the easiest, but it is doable. We walked in with the baby at the edge of the property by the fence and there weren't too many sticks but there is some thorny vines so just watch your step. Overall, we enjoyed every bit of this vacation. The lake, the property, the house itself. We will absolutely return!
