A romantic master bedroom downstairs has a queen bed with a lake view and tv, master bath with glass shower, double sinks, and large wardrobe armoire. Living area downstairs has half bath, gorgeous dining table that seats 8, comfy seating area, 62" television, and windows across the back affording breathtaking views of the lake. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms (each with queen beds), 2 full baths, and a bonus room with queen-size Murphy Bed, daybed with a trundle, games, and 50"tv. The many amenities include porcelain wood tiles, Roman shades, and ceiling fans throughout, 50 " large screen televisions in 2 of the 3 upstairs bedrooms, perfect yard for horseshoes and outdoor games, full size washer and dryer, free Wi-Fi, and wrap-around porch for easy lake living. Boat slip with lift and tie downs on the dock and ladder to the water makes this a perfect place to bring (or rent) a boat or jet ski. Neighborhood boat launch and paddle boards included. Linens and towels provided. This is the perfect house for a big family or a great getaway for a special couples' weekend. Local marina offers affordable boat and jet ski rentals. Beautiful property with a great view of the lake. We had family in for a wedding and they loved the location. The home was beautiful and set up well for family time. Hosts were very nice and responsive when needed. Definitely recommend staying!

Great Place

This place is the perfect getaway! Set up for families. We docked our boat there and it was perfect. The owners and property manager responded to emails in a timely manner! We had a great time!

Fantastic Fourth with Family and Friends

We stayed at the Blue Heron with a few families and their kids to celebrate my late dad’s birthday. Each family was able to have their own space, and the back patio was perfect for the babies to have a kiddie pool, and the lake was perfect for the older kids to swim. We loved the lily pad, and yard for family relay races. Would love to come back to the Blue Heron!

Family Wedding

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Blue Heron. Our family was gathered for a wedding in Willis. We enjoyed fishing from the dock and just being together. The house is well equipped and comfortable.

Lake Conroe Lakefront Home

Very nice house with covered deck, dock and boat lift. Great view of the lake. Nice location on the lake in a quiet neighborhood. I stayed for a month for the second year and hope i can come again next year. Plenty of space for 10 people. Very thoroughly cleaned. The house manager and owners are very friendly and very responsive. I highly recommend this vacation house for one person or for family gatherings.

Lakefront rental

We loved this property! We rented this beautiful home because we were in town for a wedding. The home was beautiful, waterfront and in a nice neighborhood. Awesome Property

This is our ladies group’s second stay at The Blue Heron. I can’t say enough nice things about this property. The owners and caretaker are neighbors and will promptly resolve any issue. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Conroe Lake Trip

We have been on Conroe many times but this is the first time to rent a house. There are lots of Condo options but we really didn’t want to be “near people”. This was such a great find. Right on the water with boat tie up. Sunset views and good bit of shade. Two things that impressed us the most was the cleanliness and host communication. We hope to be back.

Home away from home!

The house has everything you will need for a getaway (and then some). I felt like the owners went above most VRBO's in what was supplied. I would highly recommend for family gatherings. The house is located in a quiet area (with the exception of one evening where neighbors were a bit rowdy; just bring earplugs). Overall, a great experience!

Mom's 101st Birthday Getaway

My family rented this lakehouse for 4 nights for my mom's 101st birthday celebration. It was just as advertised. The view was the greatest and it was so nice just having coffee out on the covered porch. There were actually 2 tables for eating outside on the back porch which were not in the photos and rails going down the steps to the water which were not pictured. Both were a great surprise. Hosts were very nice and the place was perfect! Would stay here again and recommend to our family and friends.

Family Graduation Trip

We traveled to The Blue Heron for our daughter’s college graduation from Sam Houston State. The house is beautiful and was perfect for our extended family! It is exactly as it is listed on the site. The house is huge, with plenty of room for everyone! You can’t get a better view. You are right on the lake, with a HUGE back porch for watching the sunset! We can’t wait to go back this summer and take our boat!

Comfortable & Cozy

The Blue Heron was perfect for what we had planned. It’s on the water and the kids were able to use the paddle boards that they had at the Blue Heron. If you have a boat you can put in at the Shell gas station right now the street and then it’s a short ride over to the house where we then docked. The beds were comfortable. They had everything we needed there which was very convenient. We will book again when coming to lake Conroe. Thank you Blue Heron!
