Cabin is exactly as described very quiet, peaceful and relaxing cabin. Has everything one would want. The grandkids especially enjoyed kayaking on the lake and fishing. We enjoyed having a family billiard tournament. We were there in enjoy Ark Encounter and the cabin was ideal and close. Donny was an excellent host and apologized for the work being done on the road during our stay.

Beautiful home, beautiful lake. The gravel road to the property is rough but scheduled to be worked on soon. Be sure not to drive a low sitting car until the road is fixed. The owner was very nice and responds to messages quickly. We would love to stay here again.

Great get-away

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this cabin. It was comfortable, beautifully updated, lots of room, nice lake front experience, quiet, near small town experience but also close enough to the airport, great distance from The Ark and The Creation Museum.

Relaxing Getaway

We loved our stay at the lake! We visited with anothe rcouple and our four children. The kids loved the hot tub, boating on the lake, and all the games. The new stairs down to the lake were amazing! We had a great time and the house was more than ebough space for the 8 of us.

Memorial Day weekend

Amazing, I have stayed at a lot of VRBOs but this one was above and beyond. They were completely stocked with toiletries and kitchen paper products, things that other places you have to buy and then try to pack it home or donate it. It also wasn't packed with extra decor, very kid friendly and very appreciated!

Lake Stay

Great little getaway in Kentucky! We were in town to check out the Ark and Big Bone Lick, and we always love staying by the water, so this place was perfect for us. We've stayed at several rentals before, but this place has to be one of the cleanest. ccleanesWould definitely rent here again!

Great holiday trip

We booked this home as we were visiting the Ark and the Creation Museum with our grandkids and it worked out perfectly. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit was great for making s’mores. The unit was clean and comfortable.

Awesome Experience

We only stayed two nights but wish we stayed longer. The house was stocked with everything we needed and more. We had the best time kayaking with the grandkids, making smores by the fire pit, and enjoying the hot tub. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Sister Trip

Great house for our sister trip! The husbands loved the pool table while the gals enjoyed the hot tub! The fire pit was enjoyed by all of us! Plenty of space to spread out and plenty of antique shops close by! Donnie was a great host and was very responsive!

The ark visit for Moms Birthday

We enjoyed the house and amenities. Everything was clean and new. The hot tub and fire put was enjoyable . Very comfortable beds. Host was very easy to reach and communicate. We visited the Ark Encounter which was 10 min away.

Very peaceful property. Lots of wildlife Ground floor was great but basement really needs a lot of work. Bathroom in basement was great. But we would never sleep down there.

Ark encounter

Nice little house with a pretty view of the lake. If it had been warmer the property would have been more fun because we could have gone swimming. Only gave the neighborhood 4 stars because the road down the hill is fairly rough, something I don’t think the property owner has any control over. We would stay again for sure.

We stayed at the property for 5 nights, while visiting attractions in the area. It was clean nicly decorated and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed time on deck around the fire pit and played some pool and darts. Rain [ about 4 inches ) prior to our arrival made for poor fishing, but we still had a good time trying. We had excellent communication with the host throught the stay. Setting was pretty and we enjoyed just looking at the lake. We would recommend this host amd property and if ever in the area again would definitely book here again.

Waterfront house

Owner was very quick to respond. We received check in instructions and it went smoothly. The best part was the covered dock where we ate and fished and enjoyed our quality family time. We also loved the fire pit. Wood supplied would have been nice. Plenty of room for all of us to spread out. Great location for our Ark Encounter and Creation Museum visits. We found the local restaurants in this town and Dry Ridge to be accommodating to our family size. We had a wonderful 3 nights.

We went to Kentucky to celebrate my birthday. Didn't really know what to expect, although the pictures were nice. We arrived and although the road in was alittle rough with speed bumps in the gravel and 5mph, I could see why. Once we arrived at the property and checked in, we were totally satisfied . Everyone loved the rental and said we should of stayed longer. The host hands down was totally AWESOME! We would definitely stay again. Thanks Donny for allowing us to stay at your property. 🙏😊

Great location by the lake

Stayed with my family of 4 for 3 nights. Enjoyed our stay very much, there’s something to do for everyone. Went to the ARK, kayaked on the lake, played darts and shot some pool. Hot tub was lovely. We relaxed by the fire pit and experienced a lot of nature most especially we liked the Eastern screeching owl, we found its call on YouTube and it would fly around and call back to us. Deer and cranes are all around. You can also search for clams in the lake. The host (Donny) was wonderful and a great communicator. I would recommend this property. Cindy

Good relaxing place to stay

This property had all the amenities my family was looking for. So much so that we could have stayed at the property for our vacation instead of visiting area attractions! There were definitely days, after sightseeing, that my family wanted to return to the property and crash. One thing I came to find -- to no fault of the property -- is that there wasn't any AT&T cellular coverage once you got into the wooded area. It wasn't a big deal, but meant we couldn't map the route to our destinations until we drove past the gravel road leading to the house. Other carriers might have been ok.

Quaint

We enjoyd our stay and the property was kust as described. Checking in and check out were convenient. Rooms, beds, and bedding were all fine. We didn’t get the opportunity to use most outdoor features due to rainy weather. Never got down to the dock or into the hot tub. The only negative is that the property is on a steep spope which made it difficult to get to the downhill features (lake, dock, fire pit) specially when wet. Parking was also a challenge as it’s somewhat steep and narrow gravel.

Family vacation

The property was as described, nicely stocked and very clean. The host, responded very quickly to any questions we had. We enjoyed a fire at the firepit almost every night, it is very peaceful. The dock and kayaks available were fun to enjoy. The hot tub had some mecanical issues but that was no fault of the host, he tried very hard to get it fixed and kept us informed of the issues. We had deer in the yard every morning which our grandsons enjoyed. It was very close to the Ark Encounter. I even forgot something and the host responded and was getting it sent back to me. I recommend this property for a relaxing getaway.
