Ended up being there in a snow storm and it was the perfect excuse to curl up on the couch, with the wood stove blazing and a book. Exactly what I wanted. Follow the advice of the owners and travel during the daylight to get here. The roads are all dirt, gravel, and very bumpy. You have to have AWD, be prepared to drive slow, and keep your tires in the right location in the tracks. Once you eventually get there, it is a beautiful setting and the room was very clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed waking up to the peace and quiet of the desert. The amenities inside were wonderful! Appreciated the water in the fridge and all the small touches. Would definitely recommend the stay! I wanted to hike the grand canyon but all the hotels in and around there were either too expensive or appeared outdated. I’m so grad I booked here. It’s a 45 min drive from the south rim. The property is beautiful and isolated. It’s well kept. I killed a few moths but was honestly surprised how minimal bugs there were. The inside is just as advertised. As for temperature it was easy to adjust the AC and the water did get hot which I was concerned about. Overall I have no complaints. Excellent experience. It isn’t a scam!
