The location is convenient and easily accessible, and the breakfast was decent. Unfortunately, the service and overall experience were disappointing.
Almost every additional request I made was met with a “no.” I asked whether my luggage could be transferred to my room, and this was refused. There was also no flexibility for early check-in or late check-out, which was particularly disappointing for a hotel participating in Expedia VIP benefits.
The biggest issue was on my second night, when the room was very cold. I contacted the hotel multiple times and waited a long time for a technician. In the end, the heating problem was not fixed. A portable heater was eventually provided, but the whole process took around two hours.
Overall, the hotel has a good location and a decent breakfast, but the lack of flexibility, willingness to assist, and slow response to a basic room-comfort issue made the stay disappointing. Hospitality is not only about the room—it is also about making guests feel that reasonable requests are met with an effort to help rather than an automatic “no.”

Does Expedia offer Book Now, Pay Later Wilhelm holidays?
Expedia has teamed up with online lender Klarna to make booking your next break easier on your bank balance. Paying by instalment means you can spread the costs of your dream holiday, leaving you with more money to spend while you're away. Klarna has several payment plans to choose from, so you're sure to find one that fits your budget. Consider these flexible payment options:
- Pay monthly holidays: If paying small amounts each month is something that would work for you, Klarna can help. Paying in convenient monthly instalments will make that dream getaway possible.
- Pay in instalments holidays: Into the idea of paying for your holiday in multiple transactions? Then select this Book Now, Pay Later option with Klarna.
- Low deposit holidays: If paying a small percentage of your trip (rather than the full total upfront) makes it easier to hit that "book now" button, opt for a low deposit holiday payment plan with Klarna.
How far in advance should I book my Wilhelm holiday?
It's tricky picking the ideal time for airfares, but we normally say the earlier, the better. Plenty of international flights on Expedia become available up to a year in advance. If you're unable to do so, don't worry. Budget prices occasionally appear just weeks before departure dates.
