The only thing we did not enjoy was the pillows, down pillows were flat and not comfortable on our necks, however we asked the second night for a different one and they were in our room at and of day. "The Dorint in Beatenberg offers fantastic view of Lake Thun, atop a hilly mountain, surrounded by splendid trees and silence. The lake view rooms are spectacular. Breakfast is long - till 11am, allowing you to take all your time to have a fantastic spread of food before you start your adventure. The rooms are clean, each having a balcony. One thing to keep in mind is that it's not walkable to any place; you have to take the Bus 101 from Interlaken West to get here, and vice versa; it takes around 30 minutes in bus to reach Dorint from Interlaken West station. The bus leaves every hour from Dorint to go to Interlaken. Also, most people are not aware of a fantastic cable car system which takes you down to the bus route; the cable car is a few minutes walk from the hotel. The cable car also takes you UP to a very high point, from where you can see pretty much all of Alps -its an amazing hidden treasure that Dorint provides which most people are probably not aware about! Overall, this is fantastic haven nestled amongst beautiful nature."
