"We recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally positive experience, with a few things worth noting depending on your preferences.
The property is located in an emerging area that initially feels a bit industrial, but we quickly felt that it was safe and conveniently situated. It's within easy walking distance to both the ferry (free) and metro, which made getting around easy. There were also several good restaurants nearby, which added to the overall convenience.
One of the standout features was the staff - consistently friendly, welcoming and helpful. The all-day breakfast offering was a great touch. The hotel itself is clean, with high-tech check-in and room access that made the stay feel seamless and efficient.
The room, however, was a bit unexpected. While the bathroom was quite spacious and well-designed, the bedroom area was noticeably COMPACT - just large enough to accommodate a queen-sized bed. That said, the room was thoughtfully laid out with good lighting and practical storage solutions, including under-bed space for luggage, which helped.
Overall, this was a solid choice given that we were in Amsterdam during the popular Tulip Festival and most rooms had doubled in price. After we got over the 'initial shock' we were very happy with the choice. "
