Check in was great at the small reception which is also a shop with all that you may need for your stay. We were then shown to the cottage and given a guided tour, we were also advised where to park. Cottage was very clean tastefully decorated throughout. A welcome booklet was on the table with contact number for emergencies (docs/vets), as well as local takeaways, if you didn’t want to cook. This also had local walks and things to do nearby. The kitchen was well equipped with cleaning products and equipment/appliances (even had weigh scales in kitchen cupboard). I stayed here with my husband and 2 dogs and there was plenty of room. The bedroom was spacious, large double bed, with two double wardrobes. The en-suite was also very spacious with body wash, shampoo conditioner and towels. To the outside there is a small rear garden with a decked area for the hot tub, which we used often during our stay. Wish we could have stayed longer it was just what we needed.
