It had everything we needed. We had a few issues with heating and water in the showers but the owners were with us within an hour to sort things out. They were lovely and very welcoming. The pool is a wonderful facility and having it to ourselves for an hour twice a day was brilliant. We had a hot tub in the garden but didn’t use it as there is an additional charge. We used the one in the pool area instead. Not really any walks around the property but plenty within driving distance. The Masons Arms, a short drive away, is very welcoming and the food is great. There are food shops in Aspartia a 10 minute drive and a petrol station. Supermarkets can be found in Cockermouth. We were lucky enough to spend half term here before lockdown. We would highly recommend this property.
