Was a lovely stay.The lodges were well spaced apart & fairly private. Beautiful decor & environment. The varying lights were great. Heating was great for keeping warm.Hot tub is lovely including the fairly lights surrounding it.The knives could do with sharpening & the main bathroom extractor fan doesn’t seem to work.The onsite shop is sparse but good for last minute bits & great prices. We didn’t get a chance to walk the grounds due to the snow but what we did see was lovely.There are lots of things to see within about 1hr of the site & Carlisle is nearby which is great.
