Central Hotel; Functional & not Comfortable

Hotel is very central & I found the hotel functional rather than comfortable. Room was clean & basic and the breakfast OK. Two real issues I had were: 1) Smallness of bathroom. There was no room for the sink, so that was in the bedroom itself & I couldn't put the shower mat down & close the door as there wasn't enough space. 2) I had paid for room in advance through Hotels.com but was asked on check-in & the following morning "If I had paid for the room" which I found a bit unsettling

Das Hotel liegt im Norden der Altstadt. Erliegt an einer viel befahrenen Straße. Das Personal war nett und das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet.

Size of the room was great. Beds were comfy. Bathroom very small but shower had great water pressure. Building is very old but has a lot of character. There is no where to pull up in front of the hotel to unload luggage (minor annoyance in the rain). Overall the price was right and we had a great stay. We’ll be back again in a few weeks!

Das ist ein völlig veraltetes ungepflegtes heruntergekommenes Hotel. Alles ist kaputt und es wurde schon jahre nichts mehr investiert. Völlig lieblos verwahrlost das Hotel. Das Frühstück ist so einfach und lieblos da hingestellt, außerdem nichts besonderes. Eine einzige Katastrophe.

Super zentrale Lage.Rezeption wirkte etwas überfordert.Geschirr im Zimmer war dreckig, benutztes Taschentuch lag noch neben dem Bett.Fenster neben dem Bett war offen,da befestigter Schlauch von Klimaanlage raus hing.

Konnte nur in bar bezahlen.. Haare im Duschabfluss.. Nachts recht laut draußen und keine Klimaanlage. (also entweder schlechter Schlaf weil zu warm oder zu laut) Das Frühstück war so lala und in meinen Augen keine 9,50€ wert.

Hot, Outdated Hotel

No air conditioning in this hotel. It is extremely hot and uncomfortable. Hotel is outdated and very basic. Very small elevator for luggage and one person. Otherwise, you are taking the stairs and sweating. Location is on a loud, busy street. Your windows are open because you are so hot, so you are also dealing with the noise of the street and the bugs flying in. I was also required to pay for two nights (credit card swiped) at check in before seeing the rest of the hotel, the room, and finding out there was no A/C at all. No refunds!

Ausgebuchte Stadt, deshalb down grading erhalten?

Das Personal ist sehr nett, hilfsbereit, freundlich sowie kompetent. Das Zimmer entsprach aber nicht den Erwartungen. So entsprechen die offiziellen Fotos bei weitem nicht dem Zimmer, das ich schlussendlich erhielt. Womöglich hatte ich wegen ausgebuchter Stadt ein down grading. Das Zimmer war sehr einfach eingerichtet und auch in renovationsbedürftigen Zustand (Duschstange nicht vorhanden, zB). Es erinnerte mich an meine Studentenzeit mit niedrigem Budget auf Reisen.

Wiesbaden ist immer eine Reise wert

Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Für eine Nacht war die Größe des Zimmers ok. Restaurant hat eine sehr schmackhafte Küche. Syrisch-libanesisch. Das erste Mal ausprobiert und sehr begeistert. Am Wochenende geht nur mit Reservierung. Frühstück normal, aber der Kaffee war schön stark.

obwohl während meines Aufenthalts in der Nähe ein großes Festival stattfand war es im Hotel sehr ruhig
