"Fenton's is good for large groups. We particularly liked the outdoor area with the fire and it was also handy having a bar area! The hosts had thought of everything - plenty of blankets for us to use around the fire, loads of glasses in the kitchen, cocktail shakers, 2 fridges, plenty of coffee pods and the beds were very cosy and warm. "When we finally worked out where the house was on this desolate property, we were greeted by a dilapidated boxing bag and home gym on the balcony. Inside we discovered a filthy kitchen, glassware and cooking utensils, stained cushions, carpets, chairs and couch, horrendously dirty inside windows, a desolate deck, dismal firepit area, and a creepy caravan in the bushes. "We had a wonderful stay at Taralga Terraces - Whiting's Store and loved the town. It was cold so we made the most of the combustion fire and the beds were cozy and warm. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms had all the amenities we needed. We ventured out to Wombeyan Caves and also had dinner at The Argyle Inn which was fantastic. Crookwell is also a lovely little town. Lisa was a great host and easy to communicate with. We would love to come back to this centrally located property."

"A great escape, perfectly located near Taralga and Wombeyan Caves. I stayed with my friend and her 9-year-old daughter, and we all had an amazing time. The sheep were the highlight for her daughter — the hosts were incredibly kind, letting her feed them, and she even learned all their names. When we left, I'm surprised if she’d tried to sneak Sid into the car with us!"
