    While the lake is easily accessible, there are also other fun Adventures to explore while visiting Daniel Boone National Forest in McCreary County. Popular Hiking Trails, Cumberland Falls (horseback riding and hiking here), Lick Creek Falls, Yahoo Falls - all in McCreary County, home to the famous Natural Arch featured in magazines and only 7 miles from the cottage. It’s truly an outdoor paradise!

    After a day of adventure, come back to a beautiful place to relax - both indoor and outdoor living areas. Huge wrap around deck with a seasonal view of the lake. Walk around the corner and you have full access to Turkey Creek Boat Ramp, if you want to launch a boat, in addition to fishing and swimming.

The location is beautiful, not too hard to get to but very peaceful and quiet, at least at this time of year (late fall). We were able to go to multiple good hikes within close distance which was awesome! We spent a lot of time on the porch looking out at the view. The fully stocked kitchen was a huge plus. Only thing to be aware of was not to forget your coffee or filters, which was definitely on us. This place was great!
