If you are looking for a romantic getaway or maybe you are looking for somewhere to stay for your honeymoon, then you need to book Bayview Sanctuary. With amazing views across Mercury Bay and out to Shakespear's Cliff, this romantic retreat is hard to beat.  
  
Nestled in the hills, this beautiful cabin has one bedroom with a queen bed and a TV, there is a luxurious bathroom with a deep bathtub and a large rain head shower  
Outside on the large, covered patio, there is a full kitchen with a dishwasher, fridge, and a fantastic gas oven. Also on the patio is a large table and chairs and a great outdoor fireplace that will heat the whole area such a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a glass of bubbles.  
  
The deck off the patio has a couple of bean chairs a fire pit and a small lawn. Imagine sitting out there and looking at the stars in the night sky, a relaxing way to end your day.  
  
The cabin is a short drive from town which makes your stay quiet and peaceful.

A Little Note About Nature 🌿  
Bayview Sanctuary is tucked right into the heart of the bush, so you’ll wake to birdsong and might spot some local wildlife dropping by to say hello. With the big doors open, the outdoors can occasionally wander in too — a curious bug or two, or a tiny bush visitor making a surprise appearance. It’s all part of the authentic Kiwi bush experience!  
  
If you’d rather keep your guests on the human-only list, simply slide the screens or doors closed and enjoy the serenity.

Off-the-beaten path, but within minutes of downtown Whitianga. Nice neighborhood, quiet and secluded - no need to lock, just get up and go! On property hosts , Mel & Nudge were very pleasant to deal with.

Beautiful property, so close to town, but hidden away in the hills. Stunning outlook with both rural views and views over Mercury Bay. A quiet and tranquil retreat. Highly recommend.

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at the Coast Bayview Sanctuary in Whitianga. We were lucky enough to be the second guests to stay at the property! The furniture and amenities were curated so beautifully, with a great selection of kitchenware, robes, lotions, candles, body oils and even fresh eggs from the hosts chickens. The fire pit and fire place created a great atmosphere. Such a nice getaway in the coromandel!
