"From the moment we checked in until the time we left, everything was surprisingly almost perfect!!! The warm and friendly welcome received from Serena at check-in was much appreciated after receiving a 'not so warmly greeting' at our previous B&B accommodation. Thank you, Serena! Room - Spotlessly clean and quiet! Amenities - The bathrobe, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and soap provided were all of a high quality! Bed & Bed Linen - The bed was very comfortable for us and the bed linen was also of very good quantity. In Room Mini Bar & Snacks - A great variety provided and, once again, good brands supplied. Reading materials, i.e. Travel magazine and other informative brochures and magazines were also provided. Ironing board, iron, hair dryer, kettle, luggage rest and a small, but decent fridge, was standard inclusion in all rooms. PS - Fridge being larger than the average tiny bar fridge provided in all hotels. A surprising and much appreciated inclusion was a 'Martini package', including a Stainless steel shaker, martini glasses, alcohol and mixers for a night of entertainment! Overall, service was impeccable! An extra special thanks to Serena and Lydia for making our one night stay there a most memorable one. Your friendly, obliging and attentative qualities were certainly noticed and much appreciated! You are both an asset to The Lancemore Hotel! We look forward to returning there soon for a much longer stay of pampering! Restaurant - 5/5 Delectable!!! "

"Wonderful two night stay celebrating an anniversary with 9 people. Owner Alicia was very prompt and easy to communicate with. The house is beautifully presented with everything needed for your stay. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of room and comfy beds. Welcome provisions of some breakfast food. A fabulous property to have a relaxing time. Hope to visit again one day. "

"We have just spent a wonderful weekend in Mansfield as a group of 6 adults and 3 children thanks to Leith. The original house that we booked was gorgeous but unfortunately on the afternoon that we arrived there was a storm that cut power and water to the property. A phone call to Leith gave us options and we were very promptly relocated to an alternate property that met all our needs very well. At all times, Leith was a pleasure to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. Her attention to detail and communication style were both exceptional.
