"As mentioned in an earlier evaluation of the VRBO process, this was the first instance of my using VRBO where the host contacted us prior to check in to ensure we had no concerns. This was so welcome as I wasn't sure how to get to the property and the host representative was so helpful. Previous occurrences the host has been very difficult to contact resulting in difficult check in. Excellent work Conner!"

"There was food in the fridge when we arrived, dirty dishes in the cupboard, and the hottub did not work. Unfortunately, this booking is managed mostly by an AI platform (hostaway). If you notify them with any concerns, you are met with instant response that feels genuine, however, no one is actually on the other side responding to your requests. I have been waiting patiently for five days to hear back if I will be compensated for there being no hottub availability during our stay (which was the reason we booked). All I have received back is that they are "actively reviewing my feedback and will be in touch shortly" which is very similar to previous messages I have received from this booking that turned out to be untrue."
