"The reason I booked this b&b was they were supposed to be multi lingual so they could give us information as to what to see go eat etc but they only spoke French It’s a very nice location but you can only use the pool at certain times and if you wanted food poisoning there was a barbecue area to use"

"Staying at a castle is an adventure in and of itself. The owners/our hosts Don and Jennifer, are a delightful young couple who have restored the castle and have been there the past 3 years. "A delightful single storey gite hosted by Mike with father Roger closeby offering helpful advice. We shared the large garden with a French cockerel (Monsieur Macron) and his ageing companions (Brigitte and Monsieur Mitterand). Vergt affords a decent supermarket, hotel, and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our week there and it provided a well situated base for trips throughout Dordogne."
