"After 16 hours of travel Arrived Jamaica night time to be told by accommodation caretaker "no electricity so best not to come". Drove around in taxi trying to find alternative accommodation for the night. Next morning went to view accommodation, NOTHING LIKE DESCRIPTION. Horrible. We expected 1 bedroom entire apartment, instead poky room and share amenities, a guest already there. Looks like building site in front, ugly shack for view. Church almost adjoining which apparently gets really loud....

"This is a lovely, friendly place with stunning views, including sunrise, and wonderful tropical gardens. We were given an upgrade to a cabin at the front of the property on arrival, and Marlon (the owner) took the time to show us round his growing project. The infinity pool is fabulous! A couple of things for potential guests to consider: (1) tin our cabin we had a curtain to separate the bedroom from the toilet/ shower area, which only gave us a modicum of privacy, and (2) at present (Feb 2026) there is a lot of construction work going on, but the place - which is already gorgeous - will be exceptional when finished. "

"The entire apartment was very spacious, and was mostly clean and felt comfortable. The neighborhood was also very quiet each night and felt safe. But the apartment did not smell good so we sprayed airfreshener, and the hot water almost didn't work at all during our 3 night stay. It has self check in and check out. Overall we could stay again, or try somewhere new next time as hot water is a deal breaker for us."
