- Anything but ordinary. Welcome to Desert Hideaway, a stunning dugout hidden in the hills. Experience underground living at its best, not too far underground, lots of natural light. It is very private with stunning views of the outback plains. Featuring two double bedrooms a separate area with two single beds and an open plan. Upstairs you will find a sunroom with beautiful views a great spot to have coffee or cheese and wine. The bathroom is also upstairs. This dugout has lots of lovely little quirks, for you to discover you will love this little piece of magic.

Incredible views
Communication with Sonia was great. The accommodation was very unique with a cosy atmosphere. Very clean and had all the essentials. And although the dugout it's self was beautiful, I could not get over the incredible views. There is an easy path that leads to the top of the dugout from which we took lots of photos.

Sonia was so helpful and a wonderful Host meeting us to take us to the location which was extremely unique and a must see for anyone staying in the area

A really memorable stay and such a unique experience. The underground accommodation was very clean, with no unpleasant smell at all. We visited in winter and were surprised by how warm and comfortable it was inside.
The location is a little difficult to find at first, but the host was very helpful and contacted us beforehand, sending a video with clear directions, so we were able to find it without too much trouble.
Staying underground was something completely different from anywhere we had stayed before, and it ended up being one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. Definitely worth trying if you are visiting White Cliffs.

I am disappointed in expidea for allowing this to be book as the location is closed from January till March. Thank goodness for the local Hotel/ pub for being there.
A great place a would like to visit again.
