The Space:

Soft winter light settles over the treetops as you step onto the rooftop patio, crisp alpine air meeting the warmth rising from your mug. Inside, the glow of the fireplace waits to welcome you back after a day exploring Whistler Mountain, where quiet snowfall and winding trails shape each moment. Evenings unfold with unhurried comfort - a soak in the private hot tub, a slow dinner around the table, or simply watching the snow drift past the windows.



Living spaces

Set in the peaceful Taluswood area, this townhouse offers a blend of mountain character and inviting design. Vaulted ceilings, exposed log beams, and hardwood floors frame the main living area, where a floor-to-ceiling cast stone gas fireplace creates a natural gathering point. Plush seating, large windows overlooking the valley, radiant heating throughout, and central air conditioning contribute to a space made for year-round ease. A dedicated workspace and reliable wifi make balancing remote work and downtime effortless.



Kitchen & dining

The expanded kitchen features quartz countertops, custom cabinetry, and state-of-the-art appliances, including a gas stovetop and coffee maker. A breakfast bar offers a comfortable place for casual meals, while the adjoining dining table seats eight for shared evenings. Just beside the kitchen, the two-car garage provides convenient storage for skis or bikes, along with an EV charger for added practicality.



Sleeping arrangements

On the upper level, the primary suite includes a king bed, TV, and direct access to the rooftop patio. Its ensuite bathroom is equipped with a double vanity, frameless glass shower, and deep soaker tub. The lower level hosts a second bedroom with a king bed, desk, and ensuite bathroom. Two additional bedrooms offer flexibility for families or groups - one with a king split and another with a custom bunk bed featuring two twin beds over a queen. A full bathroom with a bathtub and overhead shower completes the level.



Outdoor living

Winter days end beautifully on the covered lower patio, where the private hot tub sits surrounded by evergreens and screened for privacy. Above, the rooftop patio presents sweeping mountain and valley views, making it an inviting spot for fresh-air mornings or quiet snowy evenings.



Ski access

From the front door, a short walk brings you to the Lower Dave Murray Downhill trail, connecting you to the Creekside Gondola. This ski access route is suitable for intermediate skiers and is seasonal, depending on local snow conditions.



Neighborhood

Taluswood offers a calm retreat high above Whistler, with easy access to winter activities and nearby trails. Creekside’s shops, restaurants, and gondola sit just down the mountain, allowing you to enjoy both quiet surroundings and convenient access to everything the area offers.

Ski access is dependent on weather and snow conditions, and may vary each season. Typically, ski access is available from late December to late March. Our Guest Services team can confirm snow levels before your arrival upon request.



Guest Access:

Guests will have full, private access to the residence, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and the patio or balcony. A private hot tub is available for your exclusive use. A private garage provides parking for two vehicles. Check-in is contactless, with entry provided via a unique door code. Detailed check-in instructions will be sent prior to arrival.



The Neighborhood:

Taluswood is perched high on Whistler Mountain in the peaceful Nordic neighbourhood, offering a quiet, forested setting with sweeping mountain views. With direct access to ski trails leading to Creekside, it’s ideal for intermediate skiers and snowboarders looking for a true slopeside experience. In summer, guests enjoy nearby hiking and biking trails, along with the serenity of being above the bustle of the village. Due to its secluded location, Taluswood is best suited for guests with a vehicle. While there’s no public transit in the immediate area, Creekside’s shops, restaurants, and gondola are just a short drive away, making it easy to enjoy both nature and convenience.

• 70 meters to ski trail to Dave Murray ski run and Creekside base

• 5-minute drive to the Creekside Gondola

• 7-minute drive to the Whistler Village

• 6-minute drive to Creekside Market

• 9-minute drive to Upper Village

Great early summer stay just above Whistler Creek

Excellent property with everything you need for a great summer trip in Whistler. Communication and customer service are top notch! A BBQ grill was listed on the description, but it was not there when we checked in. We called them, and they had a gas grill delivered and setup in under and hour allowing us to enjoy the steaks and veggies we purchased on the way into Whistler Creek. I recommend this place 100% and would stay again.

Great Location, Immaculate, Ski-In Ski-Out

This was our first trip to Whistler and this property was perfect for our group. It's easy to get to and has the room and gathering spaces for a group. It's immaculate and in brand new condition. The kitchen has everything you could want and has a full-size refrigerator plus a full-size freezer combination. The bedroom configuration worked out great for us, and the hot-tub was a welcome relief after long days on the slopes. In the morning, we walked 100' to the entrance to our ski-out point between homes, and at the end of the day, we skied right back to that entrance with a short walk up to the street and to the home - Very convenient! Creekside has some cool spots and Whistler Village is a short car ride away for all the apres, dining and nightlife. Whistler Platinum was wonderful to work with and communicated regularly both before, during and after our stay. They were attentive to any questions we had about the property and are available to assist with other bookings and questions around the area as well. I will look to them again for any return visits!

Perfectly cozy and quaint - super easy ski in and out. Great space for the family. Would rent again. Best Hot tub so far at a Whistler location and the house was very clean!

Guys ski vacation

Excellent property, accurate description, plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Close to Dave Murray downhill ski run. The boot and glove dryer in garage was a bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean, comfortable and great location for 8 guests. Good ski in/ out access and close to village & restaurants. We did a private dining experience via snow cat to a cabin through Blackcomb which was incredible.
