Lake Placid Lodge - Ski-In/Out, Pool, Hot Tub & Sauna, No Stairs

    This is a family-friendly, luxury accommodation requiring respectful behavior. All group members, except for accompanying family, must be at least 30 years old.
    There is no smoking. Quiet hours between 10pm and 8am are enforced. Behavior negatively impacting your neighbors will result in fines and/or eviction.

    Description
    Lake Placid Lodge is front and centre of Creekside base with its gondola, shops and restaurants. This light and bright, fully renovated corner suite is conveniently located on the ground floor with easy access to the courtyard through two patios, making it steps away from the year-round heated outdoor pool, hot tub and sauna. Unit 126 is a modern, spacious (914 square feet), one-level oasis with in-suite laundry, and a handy ski storage room on the same floor.
    It’s got everything you want for a ski trip, and it’s equally perfect for summer, with a BBQ patio by the pool and a beach just 10 minutes on foot.

    Located in the heart of Whistler Creekside, Lake Placid Lodge is just steps from the Creekside Gondola. Creekside Village has everything you need including a grocery and liquor store, restaurants, shops and a fantastic gym, Altitude Fitness. Alpha Lake Park is a 2 minute drive or a 10 minute walk with easy Valley Trail access. Whistler Village is a 6 minute drive with public bus availability.

    Ski Access
    Creekside Gondola is an easy 180m (590 ft) walk to access Whistler Mountain. At the end of your ski day, ski back to the base of Creekside.

It was easy to get to the chairlift, just across the road and up the steps. Unfortunately, the ski locker area was completly full with locks on and never seemed to be emptied, even during the day skiing most racks were occupied which made it impossible to store our skis there. We therefore had to leave them in our ski rack in the car and put them back in there each day. Overall, we had a great stay and the unit was very clean and well stocked.
