The Space:

Soft winter light filters through the evergreens as you arrive at a quiet forest retreat, where snowy days on the mountain give way to calm evenings by the indoor fireplace. The air is crisp outside, but indoors the townhouse feels warm and settled - a place to slow down after ski runs and let the pace of Whistler soften. Tucked among trees yet connected to the slopes, this space balances mountain access with a sense of seclusion.



The space

This entire townhouse offers a comfortable layout designed for winter stays in Whistler. The open-concept living area brings everyone together after time outdoors, with a sectional sofa positioned beside the indoor fireplace and a TV for relaxed evenings in. Vaulted ceilings and large windows frame forest views, while heating and portable fans help you stay comfortable throughout the colder season.



Kitchen and dining

The kitchen is equipped for preparing meals at home, whether you are warming up with a simple breakfast before heading out or settling in for dinner after the slopes. A dining table seats six, creating an easy gathering spot for shared meals and conversation. An in-unit washer and dryer add convenience during longer stays or multi-day ski trips.



Sleeping arrangements

Up to six guests can rest comfortably across three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The upstairs primary bedroom features a king bed, TV, closet, and access to a small patio, along with an ensuite bathroom that includes a shower, bathtub, and single vanity. On the main level, two additional bedrooms each offer a king-split bed that can be arranged as needed. A second bathroom on this floor includes a shower and single vanity.



Outdoor living and amenities

Step outside to the private patio to take in the stillness of the surrounding forest between outings. A BBQ grill and outdoor furniture are available, while the shared hot tub within the Painted Cliff complex offers a welcome way to unwind after a day in the snow. A mudroom with a ski rack supports easy transitions, and designated bike storage is available in the underground parking garage.



Access and location

Seasonal ski-in/ski-out access via Merlin’s Run connects you to the Blackcomb Gondola and Magic Chair when conditions allow, making winter days on the mountain straightforward and efficient. While Whistler Village is within easy reach for dining and essentials, the townhouse remains tucked away among the trees for a quieter end to the day.

Wifi, a dedicated workspace, bathroom essentials, bed linens, towels, and key safety features are provided to support a comfortable winter stay in Whistler.



Ski access is dependent on weather and snow conditions, and may vary each season. Typically, ski access is available from late December to late March. Our Guest Services team can confirm snow levels before your arrival upon request.



Guest Access:

Guests will have full, private access to the residence, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and the patio or balcony. One designated parking space is provided in the underground parkade, along with access to the complex’s outdoor hot tub. Check-in is fully contactless, with entry provided via a unique door code. Detailed check-in instructions will be sent prior to arrival.

Tucked into the forested slopes of Blackcomb Mountain, Painted Cliff offers a serene ski-in/ski-out setting just minutes from the heart of Whistler. The peaceful location blends alpine seclusion with easy access to cafés, après-ski lounges, and the vibrant atmosphere of Whistler Village.

• Stairs. You are required to climb approximately 12 stairs to enter this home

• No air conditioning. Fans are supplied for all bedrooms

• Strictly no parties or events. To respect our neighbors, we have a strict no-party policy in this home

• Quiet hours. Whistler municipal bylaw states that quiet hours are between 10 pm and 8 am

• No smoking on the premises. This includes patios, decks, and hot tubs

Spacious and comfortable home.

Six friends stayed for a weekend in this large, well appointed home. The kitchen was particularly well stocked, which was fabulous for group dinners. The check-in, check-out process was a breeze, with Whistler Platinum staff on hand for help the whole time. Thanks you team! The free, summer, shuttle bus from the village was handy and convenient although the walk down to Lost Lake early one morning was just wonderful and worth the hill climb after! We found the hot tub (by unit #28) and it was nicely situated overlooking forests, but it wasn’t very hot (I think it had just been topped up) so unfortunately we didn’t use it. Also, some chairs or loungers on the hot tub deck would be nice as the only other option was to sit on the ground. With the two lower bedrooms set up as twins and the very comfy couch used, all six of us had a bed to ourselves, which was fabulous and much appreciated. Would definitely recommend this property and would definitely stay here again. Excellent value, comfortable space and peaceful setting away from the hustle, bustle and noise of the village! What a wonderful time!

Beautiful, slopeside on Backcomb AND close to Lost Lake

The townhome was gorgeous and in a great location. Our puppy enjoyed his stay too - close to Lost lake for late night dips and walks, right on the mountain for biking. Clean, well-stocked, and beautifully furnished. Couldn’t have asked for more.
