The Space:

Soft winter light drifts across the mountainside as you step into a warm, inviting retreat just above Whistler Village. The hush of snow-covered trees frames your view through floor-to-ceiling windows, and the glow of the indoor fireplace sets the tone for cozy evenings after time on the slopes. With ski access available seasonally and a private hot tub waiting on the deck, this townhouse offers a comfortable base for quiet mornings, unhurried meals, and fireside conversations as the winter day winds down.



Living spaces

Vaulted ceilings and an open layout shape the main gathering area, where comfortable seating surrounds the indoor fireplace. Large windows keep the mountainscape close, and air conditioning and heating help maintain an easy year-round atmosphere. The adjoining patio or balcony extends the living space outdoors, furnished for relaxed moments in the fresh alpine air. A TV and dedicated workspace add extra convenience for downtime or remote work.



Kitchen & dining

The kitchen is equipped for home cooking, with space to prepare meals together before settling in at the dining table. A refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, hot water kettle, coffee maker, toaster, and cooking basics support simple breakfasts or shared dinners. Bar seating offers a casual spot for quick bites or conversation while cooking.



Sleeping arrangements

The top-floor primary bedroom features a king bed, built-in closet, and an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub, overhead shower, and single vanity. On the lower level, one bedroom offers a queen bed, while the third includes a queen bed and a twin bed, creating flexible options for families or small groups. A full bathroom serves the lower-level rooms, and a powder room sits on the main level for added convenience. Essentials such as bed linens, towels, hangers, and extra pillows and blankets are provided.



Outdoor living

The deck presents a private hot tub that brings a welcome pause after cold days outside. Outdoor furniture and a BBQ grill create space for year-round enjoyment of the mountain air, even in the winter quiet.

An in-unit washer and dryer, clothing storage, iron, safe, portable fans, and high-speed wifi help make extended stays feel seamless. Ski access & location

Set within the Northern Lights enclave just above the village, the townhouse sits a short walk from shops and dining, with gondola access reachable by foot or a brief drive or taxi. Seasonal ski access connects to the Lower Olympic Run via an intermediate trail. The ski-in route ends at a set of stairs leading into the neighborhood, and the ski-out route requires climbing those same stairs to rejoin the trail. Access typically depends on snow conditions.

Ski access is dependent on weather and snow conditions, and may vary each season. Typically, ski access is available from late December to late March. Our Guest Services team can confirm snow levels before your arrival upon request.



Guest Access:

Guests will have full, private access to the residence, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and the patio or balcony. A private hot tub is available for your exclusive use. A private garage provides parking for one vehicle. Check-in is contactless, with entry provided via a unique door code. Detailed check-in instructions will be sent prior to arrival.

Northern Lights is perched just above Whistler Village, offering a quiet and scenic setting with sweeping views of the valley and surrounding peaks. Guests enjoy a short walk to the village and the Valley Trail, as well as access to an intermediate-level ski-in/ski-out trail from Whistler Mountain. The location blends alpine seclusion with unbeatable proximity to dining, shopping, and lifts, making it ideal for those seeking both tranquility and convenience.

Perfect House for Our Group

We are a group of 3 couples who love to ski, shop eat and drink. The location was perfect for all our needs. We drove to the parking when the weather was raining and walked into the Village when the sun was shining. We all had ample space to relax, cook, play games and sleep. Would definitely stay again!

As always, Whistler Platinum delivered outstanding service and made our stay really enjoyable. The condo was as pictured and described and we really enjoyed it's cozy feel and location - close to the village, but yet quiet and private. Nice unit and not too terrible for ski in/ski out. Climbing stairs to ski out would be tough with kids. Easy walk to village. Only issue was the hot tub only worked for 1 of the 6 nights.

The VRBO was very nice along with management extremely helpful . The only negative was there was no snow just rain so ski in ski out was a challenge. There is no Uber or Lyft in Whistler and getting a cab was difficult.
