Beach Villa Getaway

The Beach Villa consists of the top floor of the Surf n Stay lodge.

This beachside propriety is perfect for couples and families , looking for a comfortable beach accommodation, to enjoy and relax on a getaway together. Accommodating up to 7 people, guests have a full set up to enjoy their time by the beach.

The entire lodge consists of 3 self contained units that can be booked independently or as an entire space:
> Upstairs wing: 3 Private Double suites plus a single suite with one bathroom
> Downstairs Left Wing: Beachside Unit with ensuite has 2 rooms with a Queen size bed plus two singles and a kitchenette.
> Downstairs Right Wing: 1 Double/twin suite plus a Share room with 3 bunks for 6 people, one bathroom and kitchen.

The villa is a great place to base yourself, when you're looking to take in all the best that the Coromandel has to offer with barbecue areas and sunny terraces to relax on and WiFi throughout the property.

Please be aware that this listing relates to only the upstairs wing of the propriety. If you wish to book the entire propriety please get in touch with us.

We also offer activities including surf lessons, kayak tours and hire which can be booked on our website or on arrival.

Whangamata is set on the South entrance to Coromandel Peninsular Hahei and Hotwater beach is 45 km and Thames is 40 km from Whangamata, while Waihi Beach is 23 km

Great location but expected more for price.

Great location one block from beach, but expected higher grade property for the price. No laundry or way of cooling inside.

Excellent location

The instant you walk through the door you think it’s wonderful, but on closer inspection its shower needed a good clean, it had pepper & cinnamon but no salt, there’s only 1 sharp knife in the whole kitchen, and they ask you to strip the beds but the pillows were awful when I stripped the pillow cases off. The pillows in fact were so flat and dribble stained yellow and were without pillow protectors on the pillows. I felt dirty the minute I saw them. They should have been thrown out years ago. Also the blinds didn’t meet in the middle so the rooms were very light. We wouldn’t stay again purely because of the pillows. To us, if something so basic as super old stained pillows can’t be changed then what else isn’t clean.
