"We didn’t mind our stay, but there are things that should be given some attention. The shower is very tight and toilet is in a very tight space. So Do away with the closet and expand The rooms are clean and staff was helpful when we needed anything. The beach view once you make it over the dune was awesome! lol Very clean and quiet!"

"It is perfectly located right on the beach! Outdoor pool and beach access. The hotel itself could use an update but the rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, they have a cat that lives just outside the entrance. He is also very friendly."

"The Sand Spur was in the perfect location. The beach is very easy to access, and the pool was a nice addition. It was fairly quiet, and the staff were friendly. There is some age of the building showing through, but the overall stay was perfect for exploring the Outer Banks. "

"My daughter and I enjoyed our 3 night stay at this condo. The condo was as described, clean and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed having our coffee and breakfast on the balcony each morning and watching the Sun rise! Beautiful view of the ocean, and I enjoyed the sound of the waves when sleeping at night. Travis is a great host and was always quick to respond to questions I had. There was plenty of parking available during our stay. A few suggestions I would note would be to bring a few kitchen towels and dishcloth as they weren’t provided. I would also bring dish soap as the bottle provided isn’t enough if doing some cooking during your stay and have items that don’t go in the dishwasher.. we were good for our 3 night stay.Condo is in a great location and close to a lot of places to visit.Keyz New Zealand Style Ice Cream and Freshfit Cafe are two places you might want to check out!"

"We stayed 3 nights, the office is only open 9am-8pm, so plan on checking in before 8pm. We had to take our own garbage out, as we never saw a cleaning person. We needed new towels but were usually up and gone before the office opened and back after it was closed. The room itself was ok, the bed was slanted so it felt like we were sleeping downhill. The door does not seal well so as others opened and closed their door, ours rattled and lots of light came in around it. Parking was fine, beach was steps away."
