This was our second year staying at this location and we decided to stay for longer this time and it did not disappoint! Breathtaking lake views and attentive hospitality. Everyone was so kind and the fire pits were a plus! The halloween decorations were amazing!!
Quaint lodge perched in a peaceful spot right on beautiful Siltcoos Lake. Spacious, spotless room with comfy bed, high quality bedding, and a well equipped kitchenette. Nice touches like quirky artwork, wine glasses, and a sample of local chocolates. 10 minutes to Florence which has some great dining.
I can't find enough good things to say about the property and the staff. All was excellent. The Bloom room was unique in a good way with a wonderful lake view. And the Halloween decorations were done well. I kayaked, which I would highly recommend doing. The campfires at night and chatting with other guests was very nice.
Wow! What a pleasant experience. Rooms were stylish and smelled great, facing out on a beautiful lake. They decorated for the season and did a really good job. They also had 3 resident cats which were very cute, adding to the ambiance. Would stay again and recommend to anyone considering the area.
I can't say enough good things about The Florentine Hotel. Everything from little things like slippers, chocolate and tp flower to the amenities; like kayaks, campfires (s'more kits) and a bed swing by the lake. The beds were soft and comfortable, room was spotlessly clean. Close to Florence, sand dunes and the Siltcoos canoe trail. Right by the lake, wonderful views and the owners were so nice and attentive.
I'll start by saying this property was not what I expected, but ended up being way more then I expected!! The location on the lake is absolutely stunning, and the property, along with the fun activities they offer, is more then anticipated.
The room was lovely and large with absolutely everything we needed, and even some lovely local chocolates!!
Missy was genuinely the kindest, most lovely person, and we really enjoyed talking to her and you can see she loves the property and community and truly loves the property.
Our only regret, is not having enough time there, and sleeping in and missing the gorgeous sunrise over the lake.
I hope to return again one day, and stay longer!!
5/5 Stars — An Unforgettable Birthday Getaway!
My partner and I just spent the most incredible time here celebrating a birthday, and it easily ranks as our best birthday trip ever!
From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The location is fantastic, the roads getting there are easily accessible, and the parking situation couldn't have been more convenient—we were able to park right next to our room.
The resort itself is a dream. The lake is absolutely incredible, and waking up to magical sunrises every single morning was a highlight we will never forget. Even better, there were three beautiful, very sweet cats that hung around the property and joined us to watch the sunrises every morning!
A special shoutout to our host, Missy, who went above and beyond. She was wonderfully friendly, helpful throughout our entire trip, and even left thoughtful personal touches for us upon arrival that made us feel so welcome.
We had an amazing time from start to finish and will 100% be coming back. Thank you for such a memorable stay!
This is a charming getaway secluded around a beautiful lake. I stayed in Merlot Manor and the room was decorated with so much detail & character. Also the view was incredible!

Liked: Staff & service
The staff was exceptionally courteous. The kitchen was well-equipped, though there were no tables and chairs for dining in the Record Room.
Everything was very nicely setup. We had problem with drainage in our sink and shower, but our host allowed us to move down a room.
The rooms are beautifully decorated and the lake is glorious at all times of the day.
Very clean, cozy and lot of warmth. I loved the decor room. Staff super nice and checking was contactless and super fast with lot of guides with just a click on your phone to lot of informations in regards to the hotel, the city, food etc.
We loved this property- SO pretty! We stayed in the Vanilla Villa and it was so beautifully done. Rustic cabin with mid century decor, and super cute finishing touches. There is a full kitchen that was super useful especially if you are traveling with kids. With an absolutely stunning panoramic view of the gorgeous lake. Check in was super smooth and Missy was very friendly. They have bocce ball, firepits, swings, a dock, and kayaks. The only reason we deducted a star is because we had a strange occurrence with our front door being opened. We reported to management but haven’t heard back on an explanation. Other than that our stay was very nice and would come back .
