About this property

Historic Schoolhouse Minutes From Jay Peak

  • After a long day of hiking, biking, or skiing, come take a swing at our charming historical cottage. Dating back to the mid 1800s it was one of the first schoolhouses in the area, today it is filled with all the modern luxuries one would need. Our quaint porch is perfect for bird watching or leaf peeping. The inside includes high ceilings, a bedroom and a cozy loft- both with queen beds. French culture is only a 10 min drive away; Vermont culture is abound with maple syrup and warm locals.

With Jay Peak right up the road, the next best thing to France a few miles further and a beautiful maple lined street right out your door the location of our home can’t be understated. But what we believe sets our home apart from other Airbnb’s in the area is what’s inside. 100-year-old floors, a claw foot tub, an old porcelain farmhouse sink, a swing and concrete counter tops. Our house perfectly blends historical elements with modern luxuries, you may come for the great outdoors but never leave our cozy home. You can enjoy your morning coffee on our covered porch were the local chipmunks and birds like to congregate and spend evenings in our backyard patio area stocked with wood for cool summer nights or just hang out inside listening to our record selection with over 75 records from Classic rock to hip-hop to jazz, we have records for everyone to enjoy :) oh and don’t forget about our 9 foot Victor slate pool table, open the garage door while you play and enjoy the sounds of nature and the cool summer breeze.
