"Driving up to motel 6 was like... hummm... what now? I had to take a 9am class and live 2 hours away so booked this a few weeks ago. Because Duluth was in prime fall color all places were double price so very limited on places available... also wanted pet friendly motel. Actually when in our room I was pleasantly surprised to find a very clean room very comfortable room with towels toilet paper shampoo conditioner an makeup removal packets. The second day was given more towels etc. I complemented the housekeepers and front desk as we were leaving. Outside not so pretty but very nice rooms. We were next to great restaurants...the DULUTH GRILL... rated #1 by locals. I guess you can't judge a book by its cover."
