"Excellent stay"

"My husband and I stayed for a long weekend. The cabin was about 40 minutes from the track, though it is only about 10 miles away. The accommodations were exactly as listed, comfortable, and the sound of the water was incredibly relaxing. You are not super close to anything so ensure that you have your food and other staples with you before making the trek to the house (20 - 25 minutes to grocery stores). "We couldn't have asked for a more Amazing experience. The Shepherds Cottage exceeded our expectations. We fell in love and wanted to stay longer. Kay and Les are wonderful hosts and offered their assistance. We made beautiful memories that will last a lifetime. From the kids playing board games, puzzles, running around the pond, playing football, watching the sheep, playing with the dogs and chickens. And fishing for the first time. We will definitely be back."
