"We had a total of 12 people in our group and this property setup was perfect. People ages 8 months to 65 years. Location was great for exploring Snaefellness but not too far away from Reykjavik to discourage golden circle activities. Road is pretty easy to find, don’t need 4x4 but take it slow. Need cell phone access for getting to the property. We got to see northern lights while there so that was nice. Absolutely recommend staying here"

"We had a great stay at Nes! The house was spotless and we appreciated all the amenities, such as the hot tub and fireplace. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were nice and stocked with plenty of towels and essentials like shampoo/conditioner. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, good knives and other cooking utensils, and spices. "They say first impressions count for everything and here it is really true. The 2 ladies on the reception were so incredibly friendly and helpful despite the fact we were 3 hours early to check in. One of them showed me the car park as I was a little unsure if I would be able to park a 4X4 down there (I could and did). They went above and beyond to help us. The property itself is inviting and warm with very clean rooms (we stayed in a suite which included parking). The bakery was incredible (DEIG) and so was the restaurant. We'd stay here again next time for sure"
