About this property

The Honey Haven

  • Nestled in a quiet valley setting, you will find a welcoming little haven in a corner of our honey house. The West Fork of the Kickapoo River is just across the road, perfect for those who love to fish. Wildlife is all around, and you may see our friendly dog Boone in the yard. With beekeeping as our occupation, you will find small touches of that inside the guest house. Two bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, and a kitchen are located upstairs, with a sitting room area on the ground level.
    Guest access:
    Our guesthouse is a part of our bigger honey facility. The Honey Haven is separated from it with its own private entrance and space. There is a creek on the property, so please remember to watch your small children.

Comfortable Retreat

This VRBO was a wonderfully clean and comfortable retreat in the driftless. The owners (and their dog) were very friendly, and the location was beautiful.

Quiet retreat in the Driftless

Great Experience

Property was very clean and in great condition. The location was perfect as for a driftless fishing trip. I would highly recommend this location to anyone if for a fishing trip or a hike throughout the driftless.

Bliss in the Driftless

The Honey Haven was perfect for 3 adults for a long weekend. Very clean, well-appointed and peaceful. Communication with the owners was great. We would absolutely stay here again in the future.

Tight lines

Came up with a friend to fish the driftless. Honey Haven was the perfect spot. It was clean and comfortable . Ideally located to fish, the world class trout streams in the area.

Lovely Home Away From Home

We enjoyed our stay in such a beautiful place. The location is "off the beaten path" so it was quiet and peaceful. The bedrooms, bathrooms, living area and kitchen were comfortable and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the special treat of Peaceful Valley honey - thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at Honey Haven. The property is very clean and well appointed. Be ready to drive through curvy, hilly roads with spectacular views and fall colors! Very peaceful & quiet!

This is a great place to stay.Quiet and remote. If you’re staying here in the winter you will appreciate the heated floor in the main room. We were greeted by their dog Boone on arrival, who showed remarkable hospitality! Overall we felt like we were at home.

Beautiful serene oasis

A bucolic oasis tucked into the hills offering well thought out accommodation. The four of us enjoyed staying at the VRBO while we explored the iconic Elroy-Sparta Bike Trail as well as other trails in the area, taking in the glorious fall bursting colorfully across the many hills and valleys.

Beautiful Modern Space
