"We requested a non-smoking room which we got on the second floor. We had a very long walk inside air conditioned hallways to our room. Our room was clean and spacious with nice furnishings and big screen TV. The room smelled clean without deodorizing scents needed to cover up prior smoking. The entire second floor appeared to be non-smoking which was pleasant. (We took stairs to the first floor when going out for dinner and noted the first floor hallway smelled like smoking rooms - but again, our room and hallway on the second floor had no smoke smell). This hotel is one of three related properties all nearby with a hotel, restaurants and casino. A restaurant was available at each property 24/7 but not all of the upscale restaurants were open on weekdays. the Rainbow hotel (sister property) had their steakhouse open the day we were there. Casinos were open at all properties. Saw single deck blackjack tables with $5 and $25 minimum bets. Would definitely stay here again in the future."

"Overall, the hotel was just okay. It wasn’t terrible, and I wouldn’t call it a bad stay, but it also wasn’t particularly impressive or memorable. The best way I can describe it is that it feels like an older, somewhat run-down hotel that has been cleaned up and renovated enough to make it perfectly usable again. You can still tell that the building has some age to it, and there are little things here and there that make that obvious. At the same time, it seems like some genuine effort has been made to improve the property rather than simply letting it fall apart. The room was decent, reasonably comfortable, and served its purpose. Nothing really stood out as exceptional, but there also wasn’t anything disastrous enough to ruin the stay. The hotel lands somewhere firmly in the middle. It isn’t somewhere I would specifically travel out of my way to stay at, but I also wouldn’t avoid it if I needed a room in the area again. It does what a hotel needs to do: gives you a reasonably comfortable place to sleep without pretending to be something luxurious. If you’re expecting a polished, upscale hotel experience, this probably isn’t it. If you just need somewhere decent, functional, and acceptable for the night, it gets the job done."
