"Even though the house is a historical home over 100 years old, everything was well maintained and very clean. We stayed in the main suite and had our own bathroom and an attached and enclosed outdoor sitting area that was beautiful for relaxing at night. The people running the B&B were FANTASTIC. They made us feel more like visiting family than just guests. We even got a "private tour" of the home with a full history lesson on the property and home. The breakfast that were included each morning was amazing as well. A lot of personal touches were put into each meal to make you feel right at home. Each morning we had a different meal and all were delicious. Morning coffee and night time relaxation on the front deck was amazing with the sounds of the Au Sable flowing past the property. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here and not just for a jumping off point for fishing and hunting. Thank you all again for a wonderful stay and hope to see you again next year."

"The Red Cabin was exactly what I was looking for—a quiet, peaceful place to unplug and slow down for a while. Sitting right on the creek, the setting couldn’t have been better.The cabin was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and full of character. Stepping inside feels like stepping back into the 1960s, with what appears to be much of the original décor still in place. It gives the cabin a nostalgic charm that’s hard to find anymore.There was plenty of wildlife, especially birds, making this a perfect spot for birdwatching or just enjoying nature. One of my favorite parts was sitting around the firepit with the comforting sound of the creek in the background. Having firewood available for purchase right on the property was also a great touch and incredibly convenient.If you’re looking for peace, quiet, nature, and a comfortable place to truly unwind, the Red Cabin has everything you need. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would absolutely come back."

"Perfect place to relax and enjoy a private, quiet, & peaceful get away. Close to Mio for kayaking, Amish country and the best pizza at Mio Pizza Shop. Fully equipped & comfortable cabin. Great hosts also. This was our third trip back."
