"This place is “cleaner looking” since it got a Margaritaville facelift. Rugs were replaced in our room with a nice floor. Staff was friendly. Lifeguards were doing their jobs. Steel drummer in the lobby was awesome! -Waterpark and pool did not work until after we checked out. We were refunded for waterpark passes and received a credit for that, and we were able to come back and use the waterpark for a few hours. We can’t fault them for unforeseen circumstances. -outdoor pool was closed for weather aka “drizzle”. -Beds are hard as a rock and small, not queens as advertised. -Rooms are pretty but smell like armpits and stale smoke. -Restaurant was dirty, the bar was covered in sugar, very overpriced, and limited food. Hearth and kettle was way better. -Breakfast was greasy and substitutes for real food was made for many items. Overpriced as well. -Teams that stayed there for hockey tournaments were allowed to take the place over, and even had a flipcup party taking up an entire conference room. Lots of kids around lots of alcohol. We had stayed 9 times at the Cape Codder before this, and we have never been so disappointed. We will never visit Maragaritaville again! Very sad that this “corporate chain” took a charming piece of cape cod history and ruined it with greed."

"Hotel is under remodel. The elevators are out because of the remodel. My room was on the third floor, would have liked to know about this before I booked. I can make the steps, my wife can’t. Breakfast area was part of the remodel, didn’t trust I wasn’t going to eat drywall dust. I had brackets on the walls for soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, there were no bottles in them, just empty. I wouldn’t mind going back, but after the construction. "

"We had a mini-reunion of college friends here. This house is stunningly beautiful and every amenity has been thought out. Loved the hot tub (we were a little early for the outdoor pool but hope to come back when it's open). The layout is conducive for a big group or large family- yet everyone has dedicated comfortable sleeping space. Owner Jeff is extremely responsive and even came by to explain a couple things to us which was so helpful! We highly recommend this home and plan to stay again! Thanks Jeff, Kim and family for a wonderful weekend!"

"A beautiful house in a neighborhood that is very peaceful and secluded but accessible to restaurants, grocery stores and everything else that the Cape has to offer. Swapna was an excellent host and responded to our questions promptly and gave us detailed instructions about checking in and checking out. Would highly recommend staying at this beautiful property! "The location was fantastic! That being said, the property itself was very disappointing. Toilet wasn't cleaned, appliances dusty, couches were filled with debris in between cushions.Listing stated 3 queen beds but there were only two. We were 6 people and there were 5 thin bath towels available. Was supposed to have 4-6 beach- only 2 available. Had to purchase even the bare basics like dish detergent, hand soap, paper towels. Some Electrical outlets were not covered. Bathroom fan sounded like a jet airliner. Just not a very clean or well-maintained home, which was very disappointing. "
