"The hotel was a renovated motel. Very tastefully renovated and the room we stay is beautiful. The indoor and outdoor pools are great and they offer free bikes to ride around! We stayed at a standard 2 Queen size beds room. The air-conditioner was so close to the bed by the window that it's impossible to sleep at the head of the bed from all the air blowing. The toilet tend to clog in the late evening and in the morning when more guests are using. Overall, it was pleasant enough but the exceptional score on Expedia was maybe a little exaggerated, at least from my experience."

"First off the Staff were some of the most friendly and helpful I have ever encountered in a hotel/motel. They actually could not have been more friendly and helpful. The room was quite clean but the bathroom was a little old.. like a little rusty around the sink and shower handles. That being said I would absolutely stay there any time. The Continental breakfast was also one of the best I have ever seen. Tons of options for cold breakfast items and coffee. Coffee was actually alright. Most continental coffees is almost undrinkable this was not bad actually just a little on the weak side. For the price I would give this place 4.5 stars but the staff get 7 out of 5. They were great!"
Private, Spacious, and Water Front Home on Cape Cod

"Huge rambling house with an ideal location directly on Shallow Pond. Separate wings in the house allowed each of our 3 families to have their own space. We were a total of 5 adults, 5 teens and 2 kids and never felt crowded. Clear, warm, shallow water perfect for swimming, wading, or kayaking. Barely saw anyone else on the lake. The sunsets from the back deck were gorgeous. And surprisingly we didn’t encounter mosquitos. Also very close to the Cape Cod Mall, multiple supermarkets, multiple gyms, everything you might need to purchase. The house was very clean and had everything we needed in terms of kitchen appliances, bedding, bath towels, and beach towels. One of the highlights for my family was the ping pong table in the finished garage with seating for spectators. There were also ample beach chairs though a couple strong beach umbrellas or tents would be a welcome addition. The A/C worked great and kept us comfortable the whole time. WiFi signal was strong and consistent. The house manager was very responsive and friendly in communicating with us. The decor is a little outdated and haphazard, but you’ll barely notice it given the incredible lake views.Highly recommend!"

"We recently stayed at this property, with four adults and one child/2 cars. Overall, a positive experience! The listing is mostly accurate but there were details that would have been helpful to know.Positive: Space was clean, mostly comfortable, everything worked, and it was close to everything we wanted to do at the Cape.Neutral/FYI: *No microwave. It was not listed as an amenity, so we were not mislead, but we did not think to check specifically for this.*No storage in one of the rooms. One of the bedrooms had no tables or storage for belongings. Non-primary had a TV, others didn't, which was odd.*Light switches and outlets were inconvenient at best. We bought extension cords to plug in phones etc. near the beds.*Parking: Only one designated space near the unit, guest parking nearby may be full if you get back late.Negative: *Air conditioning: There are only two units, in the primary bedroom and the living area. The two other bedrooms had ceiling fans, but we visited during a very humid time, and those two rooms were very uncomfortable with doors closed. *Pool hours were only 11am-6pm, it is padlocked otherwise. The one day we went, it was extremely crowded with rowdy children. Toys and balls were flying everywhere and it was a little dangerous. There was a lifeguard taking things away, but it was not relaxing or fun. (This is not something the host has control of, obviously, but it did impact our stay!)"
