A historical neighborhood, a former mango farm with delicious mango trees everywhere, including our backyard. Summer is when they are in full force of fruiting. \>We are walking distance to the fun Village of Northwood, with great restaurants and eclectic shops. \>1 block off the water and the famous Flagler Dr, approx. 1.5 miles from downtown West Palm Beach and Palm Beach Island. A 10 min ride to many local beaches, and 10 min to Palm Beach airport. You are truly in the heart of it all, whatever your needs are. \>A large open floorplan with a great flow and hardwood floors through out. A big comfy couch in the living area to chill, watch TV or entertain. \>Split bedrooms, with 2 that share a bath on one side and a bedroom with bath en suite on the other. 2 queens and a king bed available. \> Kitchen is well stocked for making any meals you may want. \>French doors open off the kitchen and dining area to the large pool and spa. Plenty of places to hang out and chill, get some sun, have a meal, all surrounded by mature, lush gardens with fruit trees, like banana, mango and lime. Very private, a true tropical paradise. \> Pool and spa are fabulous and my fav! Heated and easy to operate via the iPad in the kitchen. Please leave it charged. There is a wonderful shallow area/sun shelf to dip and lounge in and of course a large swimming area with the spa at the end with lights that go on automatically each night. Please key your eye on the water level of the pool and spa. The water evaporates with the heat. The water level should always be at 1/2 up the blue tiles. We do not come by the house and make sure you are following the rules. If you do not follow this request and the motor blows from low water, you will be responsible for replacement. SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK. NO DIVING. \>Backyard living is the BEST here. Lot's of space to lounge around, get some sun of sit in the shady areas for relief. The perfect Florida lifestyle. \>We are happy to provide the basics of toilet paper, 2/bathroom, paper towels, coffee, spices and cooking supplies to get you started. If you are staying longer than a few days you will need to stock up on your own provisions if you use up ours. \> BBQ is available, please be sure to turn off the gas tank and clean the grilling racks after each use. Let us know if it is empty and needs to be replaced. \>The pool gate protection is there for a few reasons: 1\. Protection for children who may wonder off into the pool and can not swim. PLEASE SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK. 2\. To deter any critters who may get into the pool and relieve themselves. You are welcome to just open at the gate and use accordingly, or remove it completely. It just pops out of the drilled holes, (we have plugs for those) and folds over easily, storing it on the side of the house. However, we strongly suggest you put it back up at night to keep the pests out. IF you leave it off over and an animal relieves themselves in the pool, DO NOT SWIM!! You will be responsible for the service call to clean it and shock the water with heavy chemicals. The location was great and just a short drive to the park. It was also close to downtown areas with restaurants and shopping. We are a party of two married adults and two teens and it was nice for each of us to have our own bedroom with large beds (two kings and one queen.) We enjoyed the backyard pool and spa very much. It was very private, as was the front yard with the privacy hedge. The property manager communicated well and addressed any concerns we had. About 1.5 miles out of the downtown area of WPB. This made for a very nice walk in the mornings. Very close to several excellent restaurants that the locals all know about (5-6 min walk),Outdoor pool area is very spacious, despite us not using the pool. Beds very comfortable. ##### Robert E. It was perfect for our family. I am currently training for a marathon and being right by the water way sidewalks were perfect for me, felt very safe in the neighborhood early in the morning. The outside area is the highlight, with plenty of comfortable areas and a dining table to eat at. The pool is in the shade all day which kept us from swimming, however if it was really hot we would have gone in.It is important that the child fence be up when u arrive .It is very challenging to put up. Florida is full of pests you do not want in your pool.The location was great…check out Northwood Village and French Grill….also the cute antique shops. ##### Susan W. We stayed here as a family of 3 for 5 days. While there, we visited almost all of the surrounding beaches and had amazing dinner on Clematis St. Northwood Coffee was also our go to spot in the mornings . You can’t ask for much more. The location, indoor decor, and pool accommodations hidden with complete foliage privacy was all we could ever need. We arrived and looked in the pool and saw something in the shallow area. We found racoon poop in the pool. Information provided stated we were responsible for pool cleaning and closure if it was our fault. Luckily it happened between the manager's inspection and our arrival at 6:18 PM. The manager had the price of the rental reduced to compensate for the lack of pool use so the negative rating is not indicating a bad pool. Since the health department rules are to shock the pool, and close it for 5 to 7 days, we did not use it.We found out the fence was around it to try to keep "critters" out, but it's obviously not working. I would suggest an electric, portable, poultry fence just in front of the shrubbery, as opposed to a fence that needed to be partially taken down by the customer every time you use the pool and then the customer is "responsible" for the outcome.Rooms were clean, the kitchen was well stocked and many appliances we could have used, however; we brought our own Vitamix and Ninga that we could have left home.The Air Conditioning condensate drain was plugged and caused one bedrooms to be flooded because water spread out under the laminate floor causing the rug to be wet in spots and our family member's purse to be soaked with water.
