The kitchenette was well equipped however we only used it for tea and coffee as so many lovely restaurants nearby. We didn't mind not having air conditioning but did use the fan when it got hot and also had the doors open for the breeze. "Stayed at the Mirage for a staycation up on the Northern Beaches. Yes the property is tired and really there aren’t any facilities you’re going to use except your room, but that’s what you get for the price. It’s priced appropriately, and well located for everything Newport, Avalon and the northern beaches offers, and right opposite the Newport Arms and Bert’s (the new fine diner within it). The staff couldn’t be friendlier and more accomodating too. Is it fancy? No. Is it priced accordingly?...

"I stayed here with a group of friends and it was just perfect. The view is breathtaking and the house is really well stocked and presented. Parking was easy but beware it's at the bottom of a pretty steep hill! Great location, easy to get to shops, beaches, restaurants etc. I would highly recommend this to families or friends looking for a stunning spot on the Northern Beaches. "

"Tom is a gracious host- honest, friendly, and thoughtful. Nice touches like fresh milk and cookies for coffee service. He also had extra toothbrushes for travelers. Room was spacious and clean. Great restaurant across the street. Safe and quiet fishing town with walking paths and beaches. Tom went above and beyond to return an item I left behind. Highly recommended this hotel if in the Sydney area. "
