"Such a cute and cozy rustic cabin! Everyone loved the outdoor shower esp for after a dirty day of driving UTVs and lakes. The kitchen had everything we needed so that worked out well. Owners were so responsive and communicated with me all the time. Very helpful with their tips. If only we had more time to explore. "
"The host could not have been more accommodating. He had a wealth of recommendations about the area that he was happy to share, and breakfast was provided every morning. The town was great and there was plenty to do. "
"There was a minor glitch at check in and the host responded immediately! This rental had everything you could need and more! Kitchen appliances and supplies were great. Lots of towels and blankets. Wonderful place for those who love being in and on the water. We spent most of our indoor time on the screened in porch with had couches, a table and rocking chairs.Fire pits stocked with plenty of wood and lots of outdoor seating to take in the sunsets. This rental is located next to a public boat launch so there was a bit of activity. Launch is not a recreation area, just launch or take out and go. We had some nice visits with those using the launch….where the fish might be!Great rental with great hosts!"

"Awesome but... The cabin, location, hosts, booking etc., were all phenomenal, this was our second time staying at this location as we loved it so much the first time. Unfortunately an encounter with a resident at the very end of the road cast a shadow over our stay. My wife and I were out on the water, I was in a single person canoe fishing and she was in her kayak just enjoying the scenery when a male came from his home, got into his motor boat and approached her accosting/accusing her of going onto an island in our vicinity (she never left her canoe and certainly didn't go on any island). He was demeaning and lectured her about nesting loons on the island. He then approached me, I was a couple hundred yards from my wife fishing around the island. He then berated me and stated I had likely already scared the loons off their nest and they would never return. He then asked if I was a renter in the most demeaning tone possible. First, I love loons and had there been any indication of a nesting pair on the island I would have steered clear, second, and perhaps more ironically, I am a wildlife photographer and try to treat wildlife and wild places with the utmost respect. Luckily (for him) I didn't realize until after the fact how he had spoken to my wife. If not for this arrogant/pompous ass our stay would have been perfect but this did unfortunately cast a shadow over our time there. The following day we saw presumably his grand kids paddling around the same island..."
