"Great location - rooms are small, but decent. Not great for a romantic getaway as the walls are thin and you can hear everything in the rooms around you and from the bathroom. Beds are fine, but pretty hard. Lights behind beds could use dimmer bulbs, they were super bright."

"I would definitely stay here again. Whoever remodeled this building did everything right and the housekeeping staff does an excellent job. Skip all the others and stay here. You won’t be disappointed. The is no staff on sight but you have contact info. This might bother some people but we had no issues at all. The people in this area were all super nice as well. I’ll go back again someday."

"This place gave us the upscaled Maine cabin experience that I was looking for. The kitchen bedding and bath had everything that you needed. Beds and linens were perfect. The porch room was terrific for sleeping and loved the privacy shades between the two rooms. The grill was awesome to cook on. Comfortable seating in the gazebo and along the river. Cafe at end of street was handy. Had a nice rafting trip with Three Rivers Mike gave excellent recommendations and info in prep for our trip. Only wish I had longer to stay. A great place to relax and reconnect with nature."
Cozy Lakeside Duplex Cabin on Moosehead, 10-min walk to Downtown Greenville

"We typically stay in cabins more remote, but we opted for this camp-style duplex which was walking distance to the Greenville shops/dining. The property itself is very spacious, well maintained, and secluded for the location. There’s a nice pebbly boat launch area where we explored, enjoyed coffee & sunrises, swam and kayaked. There’s also a quiet little marina with a few slips. The platform with the grill and fireplace was perfect for sunsets & stargazing. The property is large and nicely lit for nighttime ambiance.The camp has plenty of charm and was perfect for our scenario. The two units are connected by a door on the 3season porch. There’s a solid deck that overlooks the grounds and lake. It was helpful to have the two kitchens, which were well equipped. Wifi and tv were functional. The bedrooms and bathrooms were adequate. While I would recommend upgrading the beds, everything was clean and tidy and we all slept perfectly fine.Our days were spent at Lily Bay State park, hiking Kineo, sightseeing, exploring trails, and shopping/dining in the area. We enjoyed our quiet mornings and evenings at the property. This is an ideal spot for a group or family with teens where the parents stay in one and the kids have the other. A dog would love it here!Finally, the communication with the host was on point. They were very friendly and all of my questions were answered in a timely fashion.Overall, I would give this location an 8.7 and we would certainly stay here again."
