West Coast Railway Heritage Park

The Paradox Vancouver was amazing. The staff was especially congenial and helpful. It was enough to point you out to the right direction, they actually escorted you to get there. Upon arrival, we were immediately informed of a room upgrade and found champagne and chocolates waiting in our room. The brand new tv installed the day prior had a volume configuration issue. Once we notified the front desk, a technician was sent up immediately and set about researching the issue which was fixed the next morning. Prior to that, even the cleaning attendant insisted on trying a remote from another room to troubleshoot the problem. Everyone on staff bent over backwards to make the stay excellent and regularly checked in on us. The room itself was lovely - standing tub outside the bathroom, updated modern decor throughout the room (which was more the size of a suite), remote control drapes and shades, complimentary water, and other small niceties that made the stay memorable. I should add that location was within walking distance of numerous restaurants and shops. A special shoutout to Suksham at the front desk for his friendly and professional nature, and Andrew in Concierge. Andrew arranged for all our dinners and cheerfully accommodated changes when our plans changed. This is one of our best hotel vacation stays and it is not only the facilities but the staff that made it so memorable!
