This place is basic but you know that coming in. No tv in the room etc. It was clean, the bed was comfy and not too noisy. The shared bathroom was clean. The staff were really helpful - thank you so much. Will return next time I am in NYC.

This was in a perfect area in Times Square! We could really walk everywhere. The room was small but it was good for the price we paid. There was one guy working the front desk most of the time while we were there and he was so nice! There are no elevators but he offered to help carry our bags up the stairs. But yeah, no elevator so be prepared to climb stairs. It was nice and clean when we arrived. No one comes to clean the rooms unless you request them to, which I liked. It was a great stay and I would definitely stay again.

We love the Berkshire and have been staying there when either one of us is in NY for business or pleasure. The biggest asset by far is the unbelievable staff. The hotel keeps folx for decades. They know their business, their clients and their city. If you want Pierre-level service without the Pierre price tag, stay at the Berkshire.

We had a full kitchen with fridge, stove, dishwasher. Didn’t use it much, but great it was there. The fridge made a loud buzzing when it cycled on, the staff came and unplugged it, then took one of our three nights off the bill. Enjoyed the rooftop terrace. Well above average continental breakfast. Convenient Midtown location. Would stay here again.
