"Host was very responsive. Clean well maintained Maine camp. Everything you need for an off grid camp experience. Enjoyed the wildlife and the view. The lake is warm and shallow. Although we didnt bring a canoe or kayak, it would be a great paddling spot. Some noise from the campground a little down the lake but mostly peaceful. We would return again"

"Wonderful host and wonderful stay. Host made it easy to check in, easy to communicate and made us feel welcome. The property is very quiet and peaceful, the cabin was appointed nicely and the bedroom was super cozy for a great sleep. Dedicated easy-access parking spot was a bonus. The proximity to Moosehorn National Park was amazing. We will stay here again."

"I was pleased with the property and hosts. The property is quiet and comfortable. The porch overlooking the river is fantastic. The problem came during and after check out. Our host said I was only registered for 1 adult 2 kids. I had reservations for 5 adults (2weee teens). Later she emailed me saying that because I was only registered for 2 she was charging my card an extra fee. Sure enough when I checked my card was charged again. I didn’t mind paying for the extra. "Amazing place from a great host! Anne was super communicative in the leadup to our stay and answered all our questions, including giving suggestions for hiking trails in the area and instructions for operating the wood stove. The cabin was absolutely perfect, the beds were comfy, the wood stove was so cozy for evenings inside and the chairs on the dock were great for quiet mornings outside, and the birds at the feeders didn't even mind when we sat on the porch with them. Lots of things are provided by the hosts, including all the firewood you could possibly need and plenty of food for the birds. We also had a great time paddling around the lake in the canoe; the foliage is gorgeous and there are some cool rock formations and submerged trees and sunken docks to see around the edges of the lake. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!"
