Newly Renovated Camp on West Grand Lake in Grand Lake Stream Maine
Newly renovated camp with beautiful views on the shore of West Grand Lake. West Grand Lake is a primer fishing destination known for it's fly fishing in Grand Lake Stream which is 4 miles from the camp to the village. The lake is known for salmon, tougue, white fish and small mouth bass, the water is crystal clear and great for swimming and boating. While we have a septic system, we do draw water from the lake for bathing and cleaning. We provide 2 bottles of water for drinking, you may need to bring additional water especially for longer stays.
While the camp is newly renovated, it has that old time camp feel with knotty pine, a sleeping loft, a mix of antique and new fixtures that gives the camp it's charm. The camp has a beautiful panoramic view of the lake.
The camp is just off Bonney Brook Road on Shady Lane. The road is accessible by car and easy to get to. The area offers great fishing, hunting, four-wheeling and snowmobiling with miles and miles of trails to access from the camp. Great hiking trails are also in the area.
The camp has a dock for easy lake access by boat, gas grill, picnic table and fire pit for outdoor enjoyment. Rates for initial guest is $100 per night and additional guests are $55 per person. Parties of 4 or more will be discounted to $55 per night for all guests upon request during off season. Family rates are available for July and August at $1,300 per week. Rates for solo renters in July and August will be $155 per night. Monthly rates are available upon request and my differ from per person per night amount.
Grand Lake Stream is a quiet village with a stream that runs through it. The town also offers a family run store with fishing supplies, groceries, a food counter that serves fresh sandwiches, pizza and ice cream if you would like a sweet treat. Step back in time and enjoy Grand Lake Stream has to offer. Everything for the outdoors enthusiast or for someone who would like to get away and unplug for a while in a beautiful setting.

What a fantastic respite for a beautiful fall weekend! Feel asleep in the daybed listening to waves lapping the shore, dogs loved the dock and the kitchen was well outfitted for cooking some cozy meals. My wife and I had a wonderful, peacfule stay with our pups. Unplugged from the world
We were looking for an out of the way place with great views and comfortable surroundings and Breezy Shores did not disappoint. The inside of the cabin was beautifully done in various pine woods, the view of the lake was superb and the place was well stocked with all the necessary items for our three day stay.
We absolutely love this place ! Our second year in a row renting it. Great location, peaceful, clean and Carol is always prompt in answering any questions we have. Perfect view of the lake from the inside. If you are looking for a cozy getaway to snowmobile and / or ice fish this place is for you !
Quintessential Maine lakeside cabin, simple (but complete), cozy, perfect location. Well taken care of, and spotless clean. Hope to return in the future!
Beautiful views, great swimming, cozy cabin and lots of quiet! And if you want to venture away from this perfect spot, definitely hike one of the DLLT trails.. Little Mayberry Cove is our favorite!
We had a great time at Breezy Shores this past weekend. We used it as our home base while we fished GLS. The kitchen was well appointed for a camp and there is plenty of room for people to sleep. Overall the camp is clean and recently remodeled, with hot water, shower and comfortable beds. Great distance to GLS. Thanks so much!
The cabin is beautiful and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. And the state of Maine is breathtaking. Thank you for allowing my wife and I to stay and we would like to stay again in the future.
Quiet setting, camp is fully equipped and located on the rocky shore of West Grand Lake. A wonderful place for quiet time off the grid, reading, hiking, artwork, birdwatching, fishing and boating. The area is a treasure and this little retreat is too!
Wonderful stay at cabin. Super clean and stunning location. Everything you need to relax and enjoy the lakeside fire sitting in Norm's Adirondack chairs.
Had spotty cell coverage around property but was able to connect.
This cabin inside was beautiful. So quiet and peaceful. So nice to watch the sunsets with
no distractions. A wonderful experience and the hosts were very helpful.Thecabgorgeous
Enjoyed our stay at Breezy Shores. Beautiful setting right on the lake with gorgeous sunsets. Late season stay so very quiet neighborhood. Comfy beds all around. Great fishing and hunting nearby. Recommend this camp if you are looking for a gorgeous lake side experience in Maine with friends or family.
Always a wonderful stay at this cabin- quiet, comfortable, with the beauty of the lake right outside. Reading and hikes during the day, watching the sunset and maybe a movie at night. The kitchen is simple but always seems to have what I need. This is my 3rd visit and I'll be coming back again!
Had a lovely two night stay for a work trip nearby. Carol was very helpful and communicative, which was awesome for being in a remote area. The cabin had everything I needed to unplug and relax. Looking forward to coming back in summer time!
Great camp with amazing views. Host was amazing and answered all questions promply. Camp was clean and had everything you need. Water is crystal clean and great to swim in. Will definitely book again. 😊
Once again, we had a fantastic time at Breezy Shores. This is our third consecutive year staying here. Carol was, as always easy to work with and the cottage was spotless. Fishing, kayaking and just time to relax, all came together nicely.
We are already looking forward to next year.
After a very stressful 4-5 weeks in our regular life, a week of peaceful days and quiet nights couldn’t have been more appreciated. Weather beautiful, a little windy for fly fishing
but our guide on the lakes made it work. Fishing right off the dock early mornings and late evenings with spectacular sunsets right in front of us. Explored and found new areas to fish, hoping to be back soon.
summer in September was the best week of weather all season. Water was still warm so swimming, boating and kayaking every day.
Thank you Carol for sharing your lake house.
Great location, very clean and quaint cabin on beautiful large lake. All amenities at your finger tips. Myself, husband, and our 2 pups stayed here for a long weekend. We all enjoyed the beauty, quietness, reconnected, relaxed and swam. Early morning hikes at Tower Hill and Musquash Esker Trail. Late morning swim and pups enjoyed jumping off the dock. Afternoon naps and evening fire pit. Beautiful area and very friendly people. A piece of Heaven here in Maine.
