"What a great place to stay in Rotterdam! Just a ten minute walk from Rotterdam Central train station, over smooth sidewalks, so easy for wheeled luggage, and easy walking distance from Metro & trams, the central shopping area and the World Trade Centre. The staff at the desk, from management, to desk reception to restaurant staff and cleaners were all so helpful and nice - we were at the hotel a week so we got to know people, and for their help - for example, letting me use the phone & speaking Dutch to a call centre for me to get a refund. The BEST part of staying at the hotel was the breakfast- reasonable hours till ten on weekdays and eleven on weekends, with delicious scrambled egg, chocolate & plain croissants, cold buffet, yogurt & muesli, and coffee lattes which can be made in a paper go cup to take out. There isn’t a dinner restaurant but a microwave available, and nearby restaurants & grocery store. The only downside was no safe in our room - the cleaners came at least every three days and we got free drinks aa a compensation for the days we didn’t need them. Wonderful base for exploring all over the southern Netherlands - we did the Hook of Holland (easy on the Metro), the Haig and Leiden. And saw the statue of Erasmus! Good company! Thank you!"

"This is very much a self service hotel. No front desk. Very little staff. But it worked out well. Excellent location right by a metro station. Waiting area with bag storage worked well. Since this was a work trip, I probably wouldn’t stay here again, but it was a good value."

"We have been travelling in europe for over a month now. We booked the King Superior Room with Harbor View for 4 nights and the view was amazing but the hotel experience was pretty underwhelming compared with many of the other properties we stayed at even at the higher cost. The room is large and has a table to sit around and enjoy the view but the table only had 1 chair. We had to use the luggage rack for a chair. We asked for another chair 3 times and finally had one brought to the room our 2nd evening we were there. There were no wine glasses in the room to enjoy a glass of wine at the table once we had a 2nd chair. The bartender was nice enough to lend us a couple of glasses but then housekeeping took them away the next day. We just gave up and drank wine from the water glasses after that. Most of the places we stayed had usb charging ports but nothing here. I assume most people that book these rooms book as a couple so wouldn't 2 chairs and a couple of wine glasses make sense? The hotel location is great but there was not one thing (outside of the harbor view) you could call a special touch that makes it worth the extra cost or that would make you want to come back."
