Cute Mountain Cottage

It was a perfect getaway for newlywed’s. It was quiet and private. It’s basically on the rim of the PA Grand Canyon and only 15 min from the cute little town of Wellsboro.

Relaxation at its finest!!
We enjoyed our Holiday time at the Cottage. The surroundings were perfect invitation to slow down, relax, go for walks by river, bake cookies, and most of all to enjoy family time. Perfect spot for local hikes and close enough to downtown to stroll Main St.

A wonderful cottage in the mountains
It is a great place to stay, it's very comfortable and it's right down the street from the Colton Point hiking trails. This is our 3rd stay here, it's awesome.

Fantastic location.
Stayed at this location for 3 nights. Cabin is very clean, cozy, private. Kitchen stocked well with all you need. Location is great, close to town, but not in town. Back yard deck very relaxing and private for those evenings. We will stay here again in fuure for sure.

Quiet and peaceful
The property was located in a beautiful country setting with a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. The cottage/cabin was well maintained very clean and comfortable. The outside deck and yard was great for relaxing outdoors. The proximity of the parks, trails and waterways made this cabin ideally located. It was easy to communicate with the host if needed. We enjoyed our stay here.

Great getaway
The property was so clean and well stocked. Beds were comfortable and the location was perfect. Great home base to get to wellsboro and cherry springs state park. Yes the road frontage can be busy but with the air and fans on we didn’t even hear traffic. We didn’t want to leave. Only complaint is the magazines from 2004 need updated (just kidding). Managed to get some good video of a doe and her fawn in the back yard. Went horseback riding close by and visited a few state parks to do some kayaking. Check out the log cabin restaurant. It is worth it. Thanks Amy. Hope to be back soon!!

Wonderful!!
We needed a quiet weekend away to relax, and this was the perfect place to make that happen. The hosts have a wonderfully appointed property, they have truly thought to include everything you might need to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I’ve never stayed at a cleaner, more attractive rental. It’s also close to restaurants, outdoor activities and the beautiful town of Wellsboro. Highly recommend this host and their property and we would definitely consider coming back in the future.

Private woods setting!
The cottage was nice and well equipped inside and out. Very nice back yard adjacent to the creek and woods. You can hike on the old rail bed behind the property and it is possible to get to the creek but not directly behind the property, at least the way we went. We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The only complaint is that it had only ok pillows and towels and a VCR with tons of videos that did not work. I wouldn't let that stop you but the host might consider upgrades. The canyon hiking and views are very close by and we loved that.

A Wonderful Getaway
This is a lovely cottage. It's our 2nd time staying. We found ourselves wishing we could stay longer. It is very clean and well-maintained. Everything you need in the kitchen is already there. Beds are very comfortable. Very relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be returning.

Wonderful Stay
We came to the area to have a baby shower for my daughter in law who lives in middlebury center . We rented a pavilion at Ives run park . Although it rained we had a great time . The house is a very cute and it was an excellent place to hang out with my sister and our daughters and cook the food for the party . Wish we had more time to stay and enjoy the house.

Welcoming Cottage
It looked like a little Bavarian cottage surrounded by flowers as we entered the driveway. There were lit candles in the windows. The cottage was as pictured, very clean and thoughtfully prepared for guests. We were close to the bike trail at The Darling access point. Also nearby was Colton Point State Park for hiking. The host communicated with us quickly. We enjoyed our stay.

Awesome Cabin
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this amazing cabin. It was the perfect size for the four of us. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and the fire pit was an awesome touch! We spent every evening, sitting around the fire, talking, and enjoying our family time. A Great Cottage in a Great Place
We've not stayed in a nicer VRBO. It's obvious the owners want their guests to feel comfortable. There are so many thoughtful and beautiful touches. It's a beautiful area with much to do if you want it (Don't miss the BIG overlook at Leonard Harrison State Park!) and the cottage is a great place to relax too. Loved the deck and the porch. We are very grateful we were able to stay here and highly recommend it. Our only regret is not booking two weeks!

Delightful Retreat
This cozy, clean and comfortable cottage is inviting from the roadside landscaping all the way through to the beautiful surroundings of the backyard, where nature's beauty shared joyful sights and sounds of rabbits grazing, chipmunks playing and birds singing. I would have been content to spend my entire vacation sitting on the back deck or in the backyard yard. Yes, even with the road noise. The cottage was the perfect size for my mom, sister and I. It's apparent that a lot of thought, care and hard work has gone into making this cozy, comfortable cottage a beautiful and delightful retreat. I enjoyed my stay!

At hone in the mountains
This cozy comfortable cabin is as pictured. There is road noise but the beauty of the location and convenience to the state parks and the Pine Creek Rail Trail more than make up for it. It actually does get quiet at night but the air conditioner or a fan will keep the early morning noise from disturbing your sleep. We really were comfortable and waking up in such a beautiful spot was priceless. The owners are terrific and you can rest assured that they are responsive, responsible & accommodating should you have any priblems.
