  • You'll be within easy walking distance of beautiful Ogunquit Beach when you escape to this home in Wells, beautifully positioned on the edge of a tidal river and serene coastal marshland. It's the best of all worlds here - the ocean beach right down the road and spectacular riverfront sunsets to welcome you home.

    Uniquely outfitted for a large group or an extended family, this home is spread out across three levels of living space. The main living area is on the middle floor, where you'll find gorgeous views of the neighboring river and wetlands. The living room has plush sofas, the adjacent dining table has seating for six, and the breakfast bar accommodates five more. The open kitchen offers ample cabinet and prep space, as well as every essential appliance at mealtime.

    You can spend your mornings taking out one of the provided kayaks or savoring a mug of coffee on one of the two decks - one on the main floor overlooking the marsh and the other upstairs with a view of the ocean. There's also a gas grill, al fresco seating on the deck, and a washer/dryer to welcome you home from the beach each afternoon. At night, you can gather for a Netflix movie in either the TV room upstairs (with a minifridge to store your cold drinks) or the den downstairs (with a full-size refrigerator), or retire to the home office to return emails over the high-speed WiFi.

    When it's time to turn in, you'll find four bedrooms on the main floor - three of which include an en suite bathroom. The other two bedrooms are downstairs.

This is a well-maintained home and perfect set-up for a large group. We had 10 people sleep here for a week and the house was very comfortable with two full living spaces as well as a 3rd level with its own bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay.

Annual Maine weekend

We are 5 couples from NH who have been booking a long weekend on the ME coast every winter for 20 years. This was our best house choice yet. Three on-suite bedrooms. Three separate living areas if some want to watch tv while others play noisy board games etc. Open and spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. Decor and appliances very nice. Great views.

Wonderful house. Room for all for both together activities and private ones also. The only complaint we had was the discrepancy in the listing that stated 5 queen beds and one double. They were all double. But they were comfortable.

Incredible Views, Perfect Location, Great House!

We rent this home for our annual girls' weekend every Fall, and it has never disappointed. There are 6 of us, and we all have our own room, which is just magical! The location is perfect - walk to the beach, close to Ogunquit Center and restaurants, and a quick drive from our home in Boston. Everything is very clean, comfortable, and modern. We cook a lot in the house and the kitchen has what we need. We love this house!

Wonderful house for family gatherings

The house situated at a quiet area, sandwiched between the marshland and the sea. Minutes to the Marginal Way, one can have a nice casual walk to Ogunquit within 20 minutes in the morning or evening cool breeze. Peddleboarding or Kayaking during high tide is so easy and convenient. Sunrise and sunset views are both breathtaking.

Fabulous location, Great views, quick access to the beach, quiet location. Group of 10 and everyone had their own privacy and bathroom, which was important. Close drive to Olgunquit, York, and Kennebunkport. Also, the younger ones were able to visit the zoo as well as the splash park. I personally loved walking the beach, the beach was absolutely beautiful. Exceeded my expectations. Would definitely return.

Up the creek without a paddle!

The physical property itself was as billed. It had ample room for our family and nice kitchen. A short walk to the beach. HOWEVER...we had issue was with the fact that the house (shown with paddle boards in their picture and marketed this way) did NOT come with paddles!?! After arriving and eager to go for a kayak ride (had 3) we could not find any paddles. I texted the owner/mgmt company with a picture of the storage area and they just said "sorry for the inconvenience." I asked if I could buy some and get reimbursed and they said NO. No desire to remedy the situation. Terrible service. We also found numerous ants in the kitchen. Only 1 shower could run hot water at a time. Overall disappointed for what we paid for our stay. Would not recommend.

A Gem

This property is a gem. The house, located on the Ogunquit River, comes with kayaks and paddleboards to use on the river. This house is one block from a beautiful beach allowing for easy access and quick back and forth. The house also included beach umbrellas, beach chairs and beach towels. In addition, the house itself is also a gem - six large bedrooms, five bathrooms and two half baths, three living areas - one on the top floor with views of the ocean. The kitchen is large with eating areas at the counter, the table and an outside table on the deck overlooking the river. All the cabinets and light switches were labeled which made finding things easy. This was a wonderful vacation spot for one family - two grandparents, one couple with three small children and two single adults. We are definitely planning our next trip.

Great kickoff to summer!

We’ve been coming to Ogunquit for years but this was our first time at this house in Wells. Loved the location and the easy access to both the beach and the marsh. The house was a great size for our large group and had everything we needed for an awesome week.

Amazing Location!

This home has a main living floor with an open plan kitchen, dining , and seating area with a beautiful view of the lowlands. There are also seating areas on different floors, where people can have space to be on their own. We were 7 women and having the bedrooms with ensuites was wonderful. The house is extremely well equipped and had everything that was needed to start our stay. Being 2 minutes from the beach was perfect!

Great house to enjoy nature!

This house is perfect for enjoying the beauty of the ocean and marshes. The kitchen deck looks on to a beautiful marsh. The ocean is a mere 2 minute walk and Moody Beach is spectacular! The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are really comfortable and there is lots of room to spread out and relax. Just a wonderful place to unwind with family and friends.

Christmas by the Sea

Our group of 7 women traveled to the area for Christmas by the Sea. This house was perfect for our needs. It had plenty of space, a well-stocked kitchen and incredible views. We could walk to the beach in a couple of minutes. The house has multiple gathering areas, making it an excellent choice for families or groups of friends. We hope to return in the future!
